What can I say about this amazing Training Grounds....Kev and John are both legends in their own right! I started in October last year and have only recently taken a break. The lads who do Muai Thai are brilliant, no massive Egos, just sound blokes who support each other. I will be going back again, that's a fact, nothing but utter respect for this incredible facility. Recommend!!!

Still a relatively newbie and onoy a few months in, but this a great gym with a really welcoming atmosphere. Coaches are knowledgeable, supportive and genuinely want everyone to improve, no matter your experience level. People that train there are also friendly and always willing to help anyone new to the gym. Good mix of challenging training and a friendly environment - you feel comfortable from day one. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai or just improve fitness and confidence 👍

Our son Harry started at this BJJ and grappling gym back in September at just 8 years old. He was really shy when he first joined and often struggled with focus at school, finding it difficult to complete tasks without becoming upset or frustrated. Since starting here, the improvement in him has been incredible. Not only has his grappling ability come on massively for his age, but the biggest difference has been in his confidence, discipline, and social skills. He’s made great friends, looks forward to every session, and carries himself so much more positively both on and off the mats. The coaches are patient, supportive, and brilliant with children, creating an environment where kids can grow in confidence while learning respect and resilience. We honestly can’t thank them enough for the impact they’ve had on Harry. Highly recommend to any parent thinking about getting their child involved in BJJ or grappling.

Best gym I’ve been to. Everyone can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Feel part of a community and the communication is second to none.

Our boy has been at ASW / Training Grounds for 2.5 years and there hasn’t been a single regret. Each class is structured and coached with the same culture whether it be Kev and John or the other coaches. This being discipline, respect and inclusion (not forgetting high level martial arts coaching.) Belts and stripes are earned here and not bought. This meaning all of the kids wanting to progress every class. I would highly recommend this place for both kids and adults.

Great place to train. Coaches are excellent . I started there as a beginner 8 months ago , was made welcome from the start by everyone, all the students there are really supportive , they will all help and offer advice if you are struggling with anything. No egos trying to kill you , just people trying to better themselves and better you .Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend to anyone any age. Brilliant place to learn and get fit

This is a gym professionally organised by fantastic coaches who accept you and your abilities with open arms. Training here is fantastic, no egos, just friendly people. Perfect if you’re new to this type of training as i am myself. Hygiene and safety are paramount and not to mention the training is brilliant.

I'm new to the gym, and was welcomed like I'd been there years. Very friendly and great place to learn. All students, all though tough and well trained, are so helpfull with beginners. The lessons are well structured great to learn a new discipline. Massively high standards are set with 5 coaches with black belts. I've already recommended to friends and family that have been training in these disciplines for a long time. If you're thinking about joining I would recommend everyday 🙌
