Visited the club numerous times over the past few years and this club has always been nothing but amazing and hospital. Great training environment with top tier coaching and training partners. Always upgrading the training room and prioritizes the customer experience. Would highly recommend for families and competitors alike. Great experience for all types of trainees.

As a parent of bjj competitor kids I think we have hit the jackpot. Mike and Vicky are both very detail instructors and I can say they truly care about the progress of their competitors. As a white belt my self I feel the gym environment is welcoming and non judgemntal. The TJJC community is great and I recommend this gym to any who want to learn self defense, get fit , or try something new.

Great place for children and adults looking to further their skills and interest in jiujitsu. I have 3 boys that are currently enrolled in Michael’s jiujitsu classes. We go 3/4 times a week and they have a lot of fun! My boys challenge themselves, work hard to reach their goals, are getting stronger, and are able to practice new skills in a safe environment. If you are looking for a positive environment to stay active Toronto Jiu-Jitsu Club is it!

Michael Sheehan is the owner and operator of this fine establishment. I have been under his tutelage since March 2021, he coached me and nurtured my passion for Jiu-Jitsu/Grappling when I wasn't even really that keen on it. I actually was trying to pursue Boxing; however his approach in being empathetic to his clients kept me from looking elsewhere for my interest in a martial art. We have gone through six competition between March 2021 and present. I personally have placed medals in 5 out of 6 competitions. I am a father, sales professional and have a relatively active social life, for me to commit the time and attention to train 4-6 times a week and take weekends off to compete is something impossible for most people. It was for me but his coaching, kind heart and belief in his students, embolden me to compete at least every couple months. The atmosphere is fantastic and a refuge from your typical "bro science" gyms. I look forward to the day when my children join us in the mats. This is the place to be if you actually want to enjoy and get better at your Jiu-Jitsu/Grappling journey.

TJJC, as a drop-in for a few days was everything I could ask for from an instruction point of view - relaxed atmosphere, really kind and knowledgeable practice partners and a large mat space that left room to practice. Really recommend it to anyone considering starting bjj or visiting from another area.
