  Enrolling my son at the school has been a solid decision for our family. The instructors are extremely skilled and create a supportive atmosphere for the kids. I really appreciate the fact that the program doesn't just focus on physical training but also on developing discipline, confidence, and social responsibility. Since starting, my child has shown improvement not only in their physical abilities but also in discipline and respect. It's been nice to see them gain confidence and make friends in the classes. Overall, it's been a really positive experience for us.

  Unbelievable experience. We have had such an amazing time at this dojo. My children love every minute of it. They are listening so much more at home and are more confident and in better shape. I highly recommend going and if you want to try it out... Do a birthday party here like we did and see how amazing it is.

  Went through the 2 week trial, and if you’re serious about martial arts, there is no other place to look. Instructors are world class, as are the owners. Every style they teach is covered extensively, clearly, and efficiently. This is not just a gym; it’s a school, it’s a place to better your physical, and mental state. Do not come here if you plan on wasting time, they take their craft very seriously, and if you put your 100%, they will give you theirs. Never have I been to such a quality driven dojo, and we are lucky to have a place such as this one in Ottawa.

  I met Tina and Sean at a Judo Canada Event and it was amazing getting to work with them. The Takahashi Family’s textbook “Mastering Judo” was instrumental in me obtaining my Shodan. I used it as much if not more than the Kodokan Judo textbook. I even went as far as importing a copy from the UK as I couldn’t get a print copy in North America. It was a honour to get Tina to sign my copy and I will treasure it forever. If you ever get the chance to train at the Tina Takahashi Dojo I would HIGHLY recommend you do!

  This is the best school I’ve ever seen in Canada. Those who write negative review weather lie or couldn’t handle intense training programs. This is the school for those who wants to achieve high goals and really see the result not just training for fitness purposes. I highly recommend this school for everyone who’s serious about sports and not doing this for fun.
