I have nothing but positive things to say about, Thrive, & my child’s experience here. My child has a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism 1 (High Functioning Autism) with Sensory Processing Disorder. Which means my child’s brain is taking in around 40% more information than a regular person’s brain. But her nervous system is not as advanced or capable of taking in and processing all that information. She struggles with literally feeling her body. As well as spacial awareness (in other words she can’t tell where everything in the room is, in correlation to her body. This is actually a very terrifying thing to experience). She also struggles with fine & large motor skill challenges. As well as low muscle tone, as a result of these disorders. These factors have created many challenges for my daughter. When my child started Karate with, Mr. Hagman. I did not expect that in less than three months that these challenges would improve. That after 13 years of doing multiple therapies. I saw a larger leap in my child’s progress than Any of these previous therapies provided. My child has always been locked in a cage of sorts that no key was available. Karate to my surprise is that key. Karate seems to help to rewire her nervous system to better process incoming information. That in the past overloaded & overwhelmed her. It also helps her to slow down & think. She can do a list of things she literally couldn’t do prior to working with Mr. Hagman. Including feeling her body better. Telling where things are in the spaces around her. Her fine & large motor skills have improved! She even communicates better. She has slowed in a way no past medication has ever done. She is literally a different person. I can’t even list them all. I own that to, Mr. Hagman & his staff. Mr. Hagman, is an Amazing teacher. He is calm, patient, intelligent, eloquent, & makes individual connections on how to help his students be successful. He is funny & makes learning fun for the kids. He has an attitude of inclusion for special needs kids. Which I don’t experience in many places. Most places do not want my child around their “normal” children. Mr. Hagman, has made my child feel welcome & accepted. He has classes that are specifically for special needs students. You can tell that the special needs community has a special place in his center. I could have taken my daughter to any place. But after watching her progress in just three months. Watching how well Mr. Hagman & his other teacher work with my child. I realize she would not of had success anywhere else. If your child is a special needs child, this is the place to bring your children! They are also covered by CTLS. My child’s progress in such a short time is nothing short of amazing. I could never with my words do justice to express how amazing, Mr. Hagman is. For providing the key that is unlocking the cage that has held my child for years. Thank you, I am so grateful for your center 🙏

Both of our kids absolutely love it here. Mr. Horn is amazing with all the students. I love his approach and how he explains things to them. You can tell he genuinely loves teaching.

We love this place!! Classes are fun, innovative, and keep my child engaged. They teach so much more than martial arts (responsibility, and respect, etc.). Teachers are excellent and some schedules are very flexible within different ability levels. Mr. Hagman, the owner, really understands how to motivate and work within the students' abilities (from the 3 years to adult, and those with special needs) . I really like how they challenge the students to refine their techniques. There's even a Master's club to keep kids on track to earn their black belts. You should check this place out.

My daughter, 7 at the time was in the summer camp for the whole summer because I worked. Not one complaint in the morning or when I picked her up. Other summer camps always complained and did not want to go. She loved going to this summer camp. Zach and Olivia and the other instructors are all incredible kind, passionate, knowledgeable and helpful. They did an array of activities with the kids, crafts indoors and sports outdoors. I highly recommend.
