  The jiu jitsu studio is a truly wholesome environment in which to learn. The instructor to student ratio is excellent, and the culture here is supportive, inclusive and respectful. Sessions seem to be equal parts hard work and fun. Students are taught practical, useful moves and techniques right from the get go. Safety is given priority. There is no pressure to buy expensive gear, and no toxic, competitive spirit here; everyone is treated as a friend. Highly recommend. 👍🏾

  The Jiu Jitsu Studio is a fantastic place to learn self-defense, relieve stress and get fit. The studio is completely accepting and welcoming of beginners and female students. Lance and his staff have a fantastic dynamic with kids and are also great at teaching discipline. The environment is fun, friendly and seriously addictive!

  First started training at Lance's gym almost 7 years ago and would never want to train anywhere else. If you're looking to either start training or to advance your self defence skills, at the jiu jitsu studio you’ll find yourself surrounded by a great crew that genuinely wants to see you succeed. Would recommend trying the jiu jitsu studio to men and women of all ages, fitness levels and skill sets.

  I came to this studio as a kid with a lack of confidence and bully issues at school. Within 6 months I was holding my head high & got some great fitness. That was 9 years ago. Lance helped build me & many other kids & adults alike into mean machines haha. Respect is required throughout the ranks & everyone is treated as equal. I couldn’t recommend this studio more. Amazing atmosphere, and with the new focus being more on Brazilian Jiujitsu, it’s more kid friendly than ever!
