My son Callum has been attending the dungeon Brazilian jujitsufor a few years now he’s a send kid ADHD, autistic and wow i am well impressed he looked after he has his moments but he supported. Mark and the team are brilliant. My son was part of the kids class for 2 years and has recently joined the older kids and adults so he is still adjusting but doing good. Without mark and his team this wouldn’t of been possible

Great place to train. Very welcoming from day one! A family feel environment making it a fantastic setting to learn and have fun along the way. My daughter will be joining the team as soon as she turns 4 years old! Highly recommend

Me and my 2 sons started here a bit ago, my 4 year old is in the youngest class, my 10 year old is in the oldest kids class, and I take the adults class! We all love it so much. From the first time I stepped foot in the gym, people have been friendly, welcoming, and a good laugh. The classes are well structured, and easy to understand. I couldn't imagine training anywhere else.

I can’t say enough good things about the dungeon at Consett. From day one, the atmosphere has been welcoming, supportive, and motivating. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced grappler, everyone is treated with respect and encouraged to improve at their own pace. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress. They break techniques down in a way that makes them easy to understand, and they take the time to make sure everyone is getting the details right. The training is structured, challenging, and practical — you can tell there’s a strong focus on both fundamentals and real-world application. The team culture here is what really stands out. Training partners are tough but safe, competitive but supportive. It’s a place where you can push yourself, build confidence, improve your fitness, and develop real skill — all while being part of a great community. If you’re thinking about starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or looking for a new place to train, I highly recommend this club.

Been training here for just over a year now. Great place to learn BJJ and everyone who trains here from the coaches to the other students are all very welcoming and you quickly become part of the team. Physically and mentally never been better Loads of hard work and laughs along the way and very rewarding too
