We absolutely love Team Sukata! Thay Coach is truly amazing! So patient, knowledgeable, and inspiring with both the children and adults. It has been the best experience for our family, and I honestly wish we had started sooner. My daughters love attending classes and look forward to every session, and I feel the same. I've started training under Mario Sukata 8-9 years ago. I've been to other gyms but in the past but it's Team Sukata for me without a doubt 👊 My daughter loves going to Thay's classes! She gets so upset when we can't make it to class. Definitely worth sending your kids here! 👌

Best and safest place for you and your child to train Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Mario and Thay are very professional, respectful, and experienced black belts. We have been training with them for five years, and I couldn’t recommend them more.
Our sons absolutely love training in BJJ with Team Sukata. Mario and Thay are fantastic with the kids, creating an environment that’s both professional and genuinely enjoyable. We wanted our boys to learn a sport that would build their confidence, skills and discipline and that’s exactly what they’ve found here. The classes are structured and safe, allowing them to develop a real love for the sport while learning it the right way. What really stands out is the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. It not only makes everyone feel at ease, but also helps teach the children teamwork, sportsmanship, and a true sense of belonging. Our boys have made great progress and formed some lovely friendships along the way.
I’ve been attending BJJ at Sukata HQ for over 3 years and have enjoyed every minute! There’s a real family atmosphere at the gym and I have made friends for life. Time and patience are given to everyone on the mat by Mario, Thay and Marcelo ensuring everyone progresses at their own pace.
