Decided to work on bettering self, and I tried out a class, plan on continuing. Very grateful for experience have never done anything like this before , everyone there was very compassionate and welcoming, highly recommend Team Lawton to anyone.

My daughter absolutely loves Team Lawton. The teaching is great and it's not just a gym but a family. As a parent the communication is great but what I love the most is seeing how confident my daughter has become.

Team Lawton organized a fabulous Jiu-Jitsu Competition event! Everything was well organized the Lawton Team was super friendly! I highly recommend Team Lawton Martial Arts, however, they are more of a family! Another repeat performance for Team Lawton with the Kids No Gi Competition on March 23, 2024! Thank you!

When I first moved to Maine at the end of 2019, I visited a few gyms. After one class it was clear Jarod Lawton was head and shoulders above the rest. Both him and his wife Marcela are fantastic instructor. I’ve been training there ever since. Top notch JiuJitsu, amazing team, great community.

I've been training here for about 5 months and I can't say enough great things about Jarod and Marcela and the atmosphere they have built at this gym. Everyone is extremely welcoming, friendly and professional from the staff to the members. I'm definitely fortunate to have this as my local BJJ gym and recommend it to anyone interested in the sport!
