Jair is one of the best coaches in the world. Whether you want to compete in BJJ or MMA or just send your kid to their first jiu jitsu class to begin learning the fundamentals of self-defense. I’ve seen him coach champions and children. His wife helps with the women and children’s classes. If you want a safe and professional environment and world class instruction. Kimura should be your first stop if you live in the East Valley.

Professor Jair is a renowned instructor from Brazil with over 50 schools worldwide under the Kimura name, and he’s trained UFC and Bellator champions—his experience and knowledge really show in his teaching. Amazing school. Amazing people. Amazing instructors. Great atmosphere for everybody. Very welcoming. Been a student for three years now and it started as me and my son and quickly turned into my son, my two daughters and myself all training. Very grateful to be here. Highly recommend Kimura to anybody interested in BJJ and martial arts.

If you’re looking for a martial arts program for yourself or your kids, this place is fantastic! The family running it is amazing. Jair has traveled all over the world with the UFC. He and his wife Juliana are great teachers at all the levels I’ve observed. Great with kids, beginners and experienced adults.
