I've had to travel for work quite a bit so I tried out all kinds of gyms, this place is awesome. Lots of mat space and viewing areas. Kind people, amazing culture. There is beginner and advanced classes, plenty to learn from both. I really like that everyone takes the time to teach and show each other stuff and nobody rips submissions. I've been at gyms where I was constantly hurt and it's absolutely unnecessary. This place is a great, safe learning environment which is what you need whether it's to become a competitive champion or a hobbyist for fitness. Also their swag/uniforms are nice and well priced. I really like the look of their rank agnostic rash guards. Even the shorts are awesome and those are hard to find for a bigger guy like me. Also, the technique/instruction is fun, the warm-up is fun and unique and not just endless shrimps, and the positional rolling and rolling after is great too.

I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. Truly a welcoming environment where the both the coach’s and the other members want nothing but the best for you to learn. Highly recommend!

Our family has been part of Synergy Jiu Jitsu for over two years, and it’s been an incredible experience from day one. The instructors are truly outstanding, not just highly skilled, but patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in each student’s growth. What really sets Synergy apart is the environment. It feels like a second family. The culture they’ve built encourages respect, confidence, and continuous learning, and we’ve seen a huge improvement in both the skills and mindset of our kids. As we prepare to move, leaving Synergy behind is honestly the hardest part for us. That alone says everything about the impact this place has had on our family. We’re incredibly grateful for the time we’ve spent here and would recommend Synergy Jiu Jitsu to anyone without hesitation.

Started training here in January. The team is very welcoming and make it easy for someone with zero combat sport experience to learn quick and enjoy doing it. Great people and culture all around.

Amazing program, great family, atmosphere, no egos, and the support from youth all the way to adult is exceptional. I’m glad to be a part of it and if you’re looking for a club to go to compete, learn, just be in good health and well-being. This is the place to go. Great job synergy BJ J.

Fantastic Training Session with Synergy BJJ Coaches Melyssa Adams & Greg Thomas I had the pleasure of attending a training session today at the Fredericton Public Library with coaches Melyssa Adams and Greg Thomas from Synergy BJJ, and it was a truly exceptional experience! Both coaches were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about teaching. Melyssa and Greg made sure everyone felt comfortable, regardless of their experience level. They broke down each technique in a way that was easy to understand and apply, and their hands-on approach helped me feel confident in what I was learning. The energy in the room was great, and you could tell everyone was engaged and eager to learn. I left the session feeling not only more skilled but also inspired to continue improving. I highly recommend attending any future sessions with these fantastic coaches if you're looking to learn from the best!
