We've had a fantastic experience with Sun Hang Do at Surrey Central. The classes are well-structured and engaging, the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, and we feel quite welcomed. My 7 year old looks forward to the lessons and has gained confidence within a month. I only regret not joining earlier. I highly recommend Sun Hang Do to parents looking for a high-quality martial arts program for their children.

I have a incredible experience at Sun Hang Do MMA gym with Master Mowat as my Master. He is undoubtedly the best instructor for MMA, and his humility is truly remarkable. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate his dedication to drilling the essential forms and building a strong foundation in both mind and body. It's important to acknowledge that some individuals may rate the gym lower than 5 stars due to unrealistic expectations. Achieving a black belt requires commitment and time, and those who believe they can attain it in a mere 6 months might be disappointed. Additionally, some complaints about pricing and the duration of the black belt journey may come from those seeking a quick and cheap solution. However, the real training begins after achieving the coveted black belt. I highly recommend Sun Hang Do MMA gym and Master Mowat to anyone who is serious about honing their skills and embracing a disciplined martial arts journey.

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPER WHICH BINDS YOU FOR 2 YEARS............................................ Sun Hang Do is an amazing place and the teachers are great. - Just one advice for everyone who wishes to register their kids here. The Black Belt program is basically a 2 years program. Please do not sign paper which binds you to pay fee for 2 years. I signed the papers which binds us for 2 years. There is hardly any fault of Sun Hang Do, but, if in between your kid looses interest or has other priorities and due to some reason our kid is not able to continue with Sun Hang Do, there is no way to withdraw. It happened with me and my kid could not go there. I told Master Mowat that we wish to discontinue and we will join back when my kid wish to. Master Mowat told me that the program is for 2 years and we can not withdraw in between, as, we have signed the 2 year contract. I felt helpless Now, I am paying $136 something every month and my kid is not able to go there. Either she has lost interest or she has other things at school. There is no empathy of any sort from Sun Hang Do & the money is withdrawn every month from our CC and nobody is attending the classes. It feels sad. JUST A HEADS UP AGAIN, please do not sign any paper for a 2 year contract. Thanks

I tried for basic students batch (4-6 year). I must say teacher are overwhelmed with batch of 20+ students. Due to which kids were made to sit outside of practice if they find talking or not performing steps. If Routine seems boring to kids, it's trainer responsibility to make it interesting because kids do only if they like. Institute is at prime location but not good for kids batch of 4-6 years. For others it might be as i see crowd is coming to this centre.

I was in this martial arts 12 years ago. Since I have gone to kick boxing and boxing till I turned 21. I am now 26 and I am joining sun hang do again. it was an amazing experience before and it helped me with my confidence. celebrities like bif naked joined when I went and others to gain confidence in performances and discipline. from my views this is a martial arts that will create your ninja expectations :)
