Instruction is top-notch, with techniques that build on each other to develop a real understanding of the art. The supportive atmosphere makes even complete beginners feel welcome and comfortable. The school’s culture is fantastic. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and eager to help you learn. It's inspiring to be surrounded by such dedicated and supportive teammates.   Edit: Experience about the after school program. I recently enrolled my daughter in the after-school program, and she absolutely loves it! The pick-up and drop-off service is so convenient and makes our evenings so much smoother. I also really appreciate the app they use, it’s phenomenal! Being able to see photos, videos, and even the approximate drop-off time gives me such peace of mind. As a parent, it can be hard to trust someone else to take care of your child, especially for extracurricular activities where I’m not there to pick her up myself. But this program has truly earned my trust. Thank you to the entire team for taking such great care of my daughter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This Jiu Jitsu academy deserves every one of its 5 stars! From the moment I inquired about classes for my daughter, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Lorena was incredibly helpful and welcoming, she guided me through every step, from trial class details to pricing, making it easy to understand even for someone like me with no background in martial arts. Coach Gabe is absolutely phenomenal. My daughter adores him, and I can see why, his patience, attentiveness, and ability to connect with the kids is unmatched. Coach Rodrigo, along with assistants Aula and Justin, are equally amazing. They all create such a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment for the children. My daughter couldn’t be more excited about her pink Gi, it’s adorable and makes her feel like a real Jiu Jitsu champ! Watching her grow in confidence and skill has been so rewarding, and it’s thanks to this incredible team. I’ve already recommended this place to a few friends, and I will continue to do so. If you’re looking for a welcoming, professional, and kid-friendly Jiu Jitsu academy, this is the place! When my schedule with the kids calms down, I plan to join myself. I truly believe that learning this skill is incredibly valuable.

  My kids take classes at Gracie Barra Guildford and we absolutely love being there! The environment is family-friendly, welcoming, and very respectful. The instructors are amazing — knowledgeable, patient, and always attentive when they notice any difficulties. The classes are engaging, and the kids never want to leave when it's over! It’s so rewarding to see our children learning with joy and discipline. Highly recommend!

  My son has always been the shy kid, but ever since he joined Gracie Guildford, his confidence has really started to grow. In just a few months, he’s picked up new skills and actually looks forward to going every week! Coach Gabe and Coach Rodrigo are amazing. They’re so kind, patient, and they always make the class fun. They even remembered his birthday, which totally made his day! And Lorena is always happy when we see her and quick to respond whenever we have questions. We’re so glad we found Gracie Guildford. Can’t recommend them enough!

  We tried other location before , but DEFINITELY GB Guildford is THE BEST. My 11y daughter really LOVE to go for jiu-jitsu class. She feels very welcome, safe and at home what encouraged her to keeping doing jiu jitsu after 1 year stopped. Coach Gaby was patient and sensitive with her adaptation after a trauma in the past . All coaches are great and dedicated creating a great community . I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for self defense classes for your kids.
