Coach Sul is a highly knowledgeable instructor with lots of experience in a wide range of different grappling disciplines. He is an effective communicator who can explain complex techniques in ways that are easy to understand, even for beginners. The gym, overall, has a chill and inclusive atmosphere, and is a great place to train for casual and competitive athletes alike. Over the course of my time training here, I feel that I have become much stronger and more confident thanks to the supportive community and coach. I definitely recommend Sul Academy to anyone who is interested in learning grappling and improving their fitness.

Sul Academy is a great place to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Coach Sul is experienced and knowledgeable. The gym’s atmosphere is welcoming and supportive. Everyone is there to help each other learn and improve. The classes are fun, and I've learned a lot. I would highly recommend Sul Academy to anyone interested in learning BJJ.

My son goes to the kids' classes, and I go to the adult classes. Both are excellent. The instructor teaches jiu jitsu concepts to the kids in an engaging and fun way, and when he teaches adults, he has a gift for breaking down complex moves in a way that ensures even a novice like me understands them. I would highly recommend this gym.

The gym is very cozy and has the vibes of a family or school CCA club with many seniors and juniors alike in the dojo. Mr Sul, the coach of this gym, teaches in a very simple and easy to understand manner. Mr Sul demonstrates the techniques in an efficient yet effective way so even beginners of this martial art can pick it up quickly. There are beginner classes kids classes, as well as open mats on top of regular mats rolling, there is emphasis on learning standup techniques to a good degree since coach is also from a judo background. Rest assure his stand up game is just as good as his ground game given his long experience in grappling such as Judo, wrestling and Sambo on top of BJJ. The mats are wrestling quality mats and are soft enough such that takedowns don’t hurt. Overall the training at this gym is great and I highly recommend training there.
