I love the instruction here. The "we dont start the fight, but we definitely defend ourselves " mentality is exactly what I was looking for. My 10 year old is loving the classes. Hoping she will be more confident in self defense.

Amazing gym, great coaches!! They offer Bjj, Muai Thai, wrestling and MMA. The community is like a family, super friendly, we all grow together. If you’re starting out or advanced and wanna go out for tournaments, this is the place to train!!

Back in April 2025 this academy offered a women’s self-defense seminar. Knowing I had zero ability of athletics I decided to go anyway. My takeaway from this seminar was a statement that rang deep. That statement was “Brazilian jiu-jitsu was for the weak.” I’m happy to report over a year later I’m still at it venturing also into Muay Thai kickboxing! I have to say my body absolutely loves this! Beginning this adventure two months short of being a woman of 66 years is incredible. The instructors are experienced in dealing with all the different personalities in bring them together. I feel comfortable in classes that range from young and not so young adults. I am now a permanent fixture in this academy. So grateful.

I highly recommend Sudbury BJJ! Great gym with a welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable coaches. Everyone is supportive whether you’re a beginner or experienced. I have been training for 9 months now and love every minute of it!

Steve his team and other students have made entering into this new challenge an incredible experience for my son, girlfriend, her friend, and myself. We're all enrolled in jujitsu fundamentals and the girls also taking the women's only class. I can't say enough. I highly recommend anyone who's thinking about joining to just go for it. You won't regret it!
