🌟 *Amazing Experience at BJJ Gym in Calgary!* My son and I were visiting from out of town and got to drop in for a session at this awesome BJJ gym coached by Mike and Becca! 😊 They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel super comfortable right away. The group of people there was fantastic - everyone was friendly and supportive! We got to learn some new techniques in both the kids program (my son loved it!) and the adults fundamentals program. The facility was top-notch - couldn't ask for better! 🏋️♂️ We're part of SBG Scarboro, and this drop-in experience really highlighted the awesome culture of BJJ and camaraderie that the SBG community is known for. Highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to learn BJJ in Calgary! Coach Mike and Coach Becca do an amazing job creating a welcoming and effective training environment for all ages. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Calgary again!

We are loving straight blast gym! My 10yo son was hesitant at first but as the classes went on he started getting more and more excited! He's becoming more confident and is learning to be a good partner on and off the mat. Coach Becca and Coach Mike have a great program w rewards that REALLY motivate the kids. As a parent, its been an absolute pleasure watching aswell. Its inspiring just sitting on the bench! Highly recommend!!! 💯

Well since I've started coach Mike and coach Becca have been very understanding with me as I am a beginner in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Coach Mike definitely takes the time to explain and teach his students. I highly recommend going and checking out Straight blast gym. I'm enjoying myself training at SBG Calgary! English is my second language, I speak Brazilian Portuguese and I had to look at the dictionary to find the meaning of Straight Blast and I thought myself " That's the way I feel!", a Blast for achieving my goals in martial arts and I can extend it to life skills as well as the sense of discipline, self-care, confidence, friendship and more... The SBG colorful walls, the clean environment, the tatami, the space contributed to the sense of belonging to the right place. Mike and Becca are super professionals and I like to learn from them. Actually, I can say that I am enjoying my last days as a white belt, training at SBG Calgary! Their knowledge are contribuiting to improve the experience that I have gained of many years training martial arts ( Capoeira, Krav Maga, Taekwondo, Maculelê and Kickboxing). I feel safe and respected. I trust their Jiu-Jitsu game. OSSS!!! To Mike, Becca and the new friends who are helping me to improve the BJJ skills. Thank you.

My Duaghter, 5 years old, and my Son, 4 years old, have been attending straight Blast Gym for over a month now. My main reasons for them getting into jiu-jitsu was, I wanted them to learn self confidence, self respect, respect for others and learn how to be in a team. Well, after a few classes to get comfortable with the other kids, I see the change not only in class but also at home. Mike and Becca really know thier craft and to top it, they know how to teach the kids. The kids instantly respected Mike and Becca because they know how to make learning jiu-jitsu so much fun. I would like to thank you Two for doing what you guys do, Bella and Hamoody love attending and I hope they will for years to come. And for the older folks. I watch those sessions go on, and I have to say, I was highly impressed. If my work schedule wasn't insane, I would join in a heart beat. I would highly recommend anyone to try Straight Blast. Thanks Mike&Becca, you guys rock
