I’ve rolled in a number of different studios over the past years, and Stockton Jiu Jitsu Academy is by far the best. The hours are incredibly convenient, the instruction is precise, and the instructor is NEVER EVER late. Ever. Whether class starts at 5 AM or 6 PM, or there’s 15 students or just 2, there’s always someone on the mats ready to teach. Usually the owner himself. The children’s program is extremely well run as well, with the sizes and ages broken up so no student is ever overwhelmed. If you’re looking to start, or continue, a bjj journey this is easily the best place to do it.

Love this place! Awesome environment, staff and excellent place to upgrade your self every single day. Different classes for every skill level, age, gender and even Open Mat for everyone to learn. Also, classes for cross-fit and boxing. Stop by and check it out for any questions or to check out the vibe & there's a good chance you'll sign up for a class or two! Thank you SJJA!

A fantastic place to train both body and mind. My son and I have grown exponentially as people thanks to this academy. If you want a place that will give you the tools to be the better version of yourself this is it.

Tonight was an extra special session for me so far every session I attend is extra special . A high belt worked with me over and over with the basic foundation to jiu-jitsu . This is a place where you get undivided attention . As a beginner I am so amazed how easy this all comes to everyone I train with. I really value their time. These folks are really encouraging and supportive.

Stopped in for a class while in the area. The instruction was second to none, the people were welcoming and super friendly, and the place was CLEAN! What more could you ask for? 5 stars

Best training atmosphere in Stockton. This school is ran by great people who are very attentive to the students. If you are new to jiujitsu or a seasoned competitor this is the place for you. Family atmosphere. Hands down best kids program in the area. If you want your kids to learn jiujitsu AND have fun doing it, then this is the place.

I love the atmosphere and Vibe that Stockton jiu-Jitsu Academy and Valley Fit provide to myself and my family.I'm a world Champion of Submission Wrestling and a multiple times National and International champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts...I can't describe in words about Stockton Jiu-Jitsu academy and Valley Fit has been providing for me and my family.This is a place that I love to watch my kids learning Martial Arts,i believe one of the reason for that is because all the instructors are fathers and amazing humans that believe in the service that they are providing are crucial for the sanity of all families.It's a stress relief place with EGO free environment suitable for Kids,Teens,Adults,Females,Seniors and Families.They have so many programs catering for the entire family....If a place is running by a family all you can expect is an amazing air of love and caring to everyone....Love and Respect is something that they enphase in their philosophy.The teachers love what they are doing and they are raising amazing humans and providing an amazing platform to everyone to experience in first hand!Strongly recommended Stockton Jiu-Jitsu and Valley Fit Academy!

Horrible experience with the owner . I’m just going to say how she made me feel and that was unimportant! The first time I went to try the class my son liked the experience and really wanted to sign up but when it came to dealing with the owner she was putting me on the back burner. And all I wanted to do was pay her to sign up and she left me waiting outside for almost 30 minutes with no response. Still haven’t responded to me. I don’t understand. She made me feel a lot of pressure when I did my first class like rush, rush, rush did not give me no instruction and disappeared in the middle of the class. I don’t know where. And To be honest, I didn’t even know she was the owner because she was so unprofessional until someone told me that she was the owner I was shocked based on her behavior! I don’t recommend Plus the class at 5:30 overcrowded.
