Spartan Striking Academy in Markham is fantastic! I started with a trial and quickly signed up for a recurring membership. The Muay Thai, boxing, BJJ, and MMA classes are top-tier, with skilled and supportive coaches. The facility is great, and the location is super convenient. Highly recommend this academy for anyone looking to train in martial arts!

Spartan Striking Academy is hands down one of the best martial arts gyms around. Whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced fighter, the coaches here create a supportive and motivating environment where everyone can grow. The attention to technique, conditioning, and discipline is top-tier, and the community they’ve built is truly welcoming and respectful. You leave every class feeling stronger—not just physically, but mentally as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their striking, get in shape, or just be part of a great team.

I can’t say enough great things about this martial arts gym. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy, dedication, and sense of community that sets it apart. The coaches are top-tier—highly skilled, experienced fighters who are just as committed to teaching as they are to training. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned competitor, they meet you where you are and push you to be your best. Classes are well-structured, intense, and incredibly rewarding. You’ll build real skills—not just fitness—with a strong focus on technique, discipline, and fight IQ. The environment is tough but welcoming, and it’s clear that everyone there is serious about improving and supporting each other. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything from heavy bags to sparring areas. Safety is a top priority, and the culture encourages respect, humility, and hard work. If you’re looking to train with serious fighters, learn self-defense, or just challenge yourself mentally and physically, this is the place. I’ve grown so much since joining, and I highly recommend it to anyone ready to step up their game. Thanks Michael & Melissa for this great facility.

  Beautiful Me

“Spartan striking academy” is a household name in my family, my three children including me are there almost everyday doing what we love to do, strengthening, conditioning and building our body and mind, under the supervision of extremely knowledgable, friendly instructors. We have been with this place for past 5 years now, that itself says a lot about why it’s the best. My daughter started her kickboxing/Muay Thai when she was only 8 years old, now she’s 13 and a world champion, going for professional athlete soon. My other children are also excelling at it. Besides all of the achievements my children have been learning to be disciplined, confident and focused. We are building a strong community around this sports that we are proud to be part of.
