My daughter has been a member of this club now for around 3years! She loves it!! Really supportive learning environment, the sensei’s/coaches are fab. Really help develop confidence in their pupils. Would recommend.👌

I've been coming here for over a month and just got my white belt, absolutely brilliant club. The staff and members are so welcoming and so patient. As a more overweight guy, I was very nervous about attending but SSJJKA offer a very inclusive atmosphere and tailored training to you. Highly recommended.

Our son started ssjjka just over a year ago, it hasn't been an easy ride (for the sensei's) 😀 he's autistic and can be quite challenging at times, but Peter and Tom are absolutely amazing with him so much patience and accommodating to his needs, it's a part of his safe routine now ! he's thriving in class and onto his 6th belt ! Our daughter recently dropped dance to join the ssjjka family too👏🏼

My son has been attending SSJJKA for almost 3 years. Prior to joining we looked at a couple of other martial arts groups but at the time found them too impersonal and they they felt too exclusive. SSJJKA was a the first group that my son felt comfortable training with. Sensei and his team are firm but seem to have an open and encouraging attitude. There is a good sense of community no matter what background or skill level students might have. Since day one Sensei and his team have been very encouraging and supportive and my son's confidence both physically and mentally has improved immensly. Training night has become something my son looks forward to and one of the highlights of his week. Highly recommended.

South Sefton Ju Jitsu and Kobudo academy is an outstanding club. My 2 boys have been doing Kobudo for the past 10 months, and they look forward to their class every week. Sensei Peter is amazing with them, as is every other member of the team. They have grown in confidence and are now working towards their second belt. We hope they will be with the club for many years to come. Thank you for all the work you put in to your students.

My 7 year old son loves it here. It's his first experience with martial arts and he loves it. He's very happy and excited to go into classes every week, Sensei Peter is amazing with the children. Thank you!

The club is a positive place to be. My son trains 3 times a week and I cannot praise them enough. He enjoys every aspect and has been able to grow and achieve with the wonderful support of Peter and all the Sensei's. Learning lifelong skills making friends and feeling like they belong to a martial arts family were everyone is aaccepted. Cannot praise the club enough if you dont believe me go see for yourselves!!!!

SSJJKA is a brilliant club and highly recommended by myself and my wife. We joined together a number of years ago and have so far reached black belt level. Sensei Peter is a great teacher and makes you feel welcome and at ease - as do the other senseis, who freely share their knowledge to help you along. Our Son has been attending SSJJKA since he was 4 years old. He is now 8 and two tabs away from hia jnr black belt. He has grown in confidence, made great friends and loves attending classes. Sensei Peter has been fantastic and we would highly recommend the club.

My daughter attended South Sefton Ju Jitsu & Kobudo for several years. Something I didn’t think she would ever stick at; she proved me wrong! She gained so much confidence attending the classes along with a lot of self discipline, which has helped her through senior school years. Peter is an amazing tutor and is very fair with the children, whilst being a kind and compassionate friend. Although classes were hard work there were also lots of laughs as the classes were made enjoyable and social. I would highly recommend South Sefton Ju Jitsu & Kobudo to anyone looking to enrol their child in this sport. Well done Peter and the team 👏🏻

Recommended! My son has been going to Jujitsu and Kobudo since May. He's enjoying and likes the class. Peter and his group are professional, though one sensei was a bit strict with my son and once I talked with Peter; he kindly tried to sort it out. Peter always reply to the messages immediately and is very helpful and supportive. If I gave 4 stars from 5 just because I think is almost expensive and my son got upset from a sensei. In general I'm happy with this Academy.
