My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves training at SJJA Palm Beach. Coach Lucas is amazing with the kids. He’s patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to make every class fun while helping them build confidence and learn new skills. The other coaches who help him are also fantastic. They’re friendly, supportive, and genuinely care about each child. It’s such a welcoming environment, and I’ve been so impressed with how much my daughter has grown in confidence and enjoys coming every week. Highly recommend SJJA Palm Beach to any parents looking for a great place for their young children to learn and have fun.
We love coming to SJJA Palm Beach each week. Coach Lucas is incredibly supportive and understanding of children and their development. He is able to tailor each class to the needs of the age group but also uphold the standard and expectations of this martial art. Our 4 year old is so excited to go each week, and to practice each skill at home after!

Professor Almiro taught my son since he was four years old in Singapore. He is a dedicated and passionate coach with a wealth of world class experience. More than a Jiu-Jitsu gym Lucas and Lais are two of the most kind, humble, and genuine people you’ll meet. From day one, they make everyone feel welcome and respected. There’s zero ego — just hard work, positive energy and constant encouragement. For me and my son Nate, they’ve given us far more than just Jiu-Jitsu skills. They’re helping to build confidence, discipline, and respect, and that’s a parents dream. The Jiu-Jitsu is excellent, but it’s who they are as people that truly sets this gym apart. Highly recommend
SJJA Palm Beach has been such a great experience for our family. My 6 year old has trained here for around six months, and the growth in his confidence, discipline, and skills has been incredible. Lucas is a truly gifted head coach who connects so well with the kids (and adults) and brings out the best in people. I recently joined myself in September and now train with both Lucas and his wife, Laiz. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, and create such a welcoming, supportive atmosphere on the mats. Every class is fun, challenging, and uplifting. The people we have met at the gym have all become like family. We’re so grateful to be part of this gym and I cannot recommend SJJA Palm Beach enough!
