I’ve been training at Carlson Gracie Currumbin for almost four years, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. The coaching is outstanding, with instructors who genuinely care about helping everyone improve, whether you’re stepping onto the mats for the first time or have years of experience. The atmosphere is what really sets this gym apart. Everyone is welcoming, respectful, and always willing to help each other learn. It’s a place where you can train hard, be challenged every session, and still feel like part of a great community. Earning my blue belt here has been one of my proudest achievements, and I can’t wait to continue the journey toward purple with this team. The techniques are taught in a way that’s easy to understand, the training is high quality, and the culture on the mats is second to none. If you’re thinking about starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or looking for a new gym, I couldn’t recommend Carlson Gracie Currumbin more highly. Five stars all the way.

I trust Fabio a lot and he is a passionate teacher! I watched him treat everyone equally and fairly while being extremely gracious to personal mistakes. I travelled very far to learn from Him. He will guide you into being a better person without you even realizing it.

I highly recommend training at Carlson Gracie Currumbin. The training is superb, and Gio, Fabio, and the rest of the coaches are truly top-class—professional, supportive, and passionate. The community is fantastic and very welcoming. Most importantly, my boys absolutely love it and always look forward to every class.

The coaches at Carlson Gracie Currumbin are amazing! From kids to adults classes, you can see/feel their enthusiasm and love of jiu jitsu while they are teaching. Recommend to everyone

Having trained jiu jitsu in many different academies over the years in various countries I can say without a doubt that Carlson Gracie here on the Gold Coast is the best. Very friendly instructors, clean facilities, and most importantly great jiu jitsu!
