The coaches here are world class humans, and are always willing to work with you no matter what your schedule looks like. I have been struggling to make time with having a child owning a business and just life coming at me every direction, and they have always consistently been supportive and extremely welcoming. I can say without a doubt that this is a world class facility with world class coaches, and you should expect nothing less than world class jiu-jitsu.
World class BJJ gym with world class instructors. Trained here for 1.5 years and loved my time here. Had to leave due to relocating for my job. A strong core of students, which allows for an environment where you can train hard and safe at the same time. Would recommend to anyone. They also have a strong kids’ program run by Alex, who I feel is very skilled at teaching and disciplining kids. Oss!

I am a mother of 5 and I send my 3 boys here (age 9,7,5) at the request of my husband and I have to say, as a previous skeptic, I am blown away by these coaches. The younger classes are filled with all types of developing kids who are still learning boundaries, self control, and self regulation, and these coaches handle them with authority and grace. They establish an air of strength and respect that the kids flock to. There have been times some children act out and every. single. time. I witness this I see positive role models who display proper and positive masculinity. I see men who are in control, calm, and calculated resulting in teaching the greatest of lessons to these young minds: self control and respect. Coach Arash and Coach Yeppie have shown they can handle hard kids without breaking a sweat (or making the parents sweat!). As I have sat and watched the hard kids become the well behaved, controlled kids, I see now why Jui Jitsu is such a gift for parents wanting to teach their kids self-discipline, focus, self-respect, empathy and courtesy for others. One of the best things I have ever done for my kids, and I encourage the other skeptics to take leap. You won’t regret it and your kids will thank you later.
If you are looking for a place to learn Brazilian Jujitsu that is full of compassionate, experienced, proven, competition winners to teach you then Six Blades is your new gym in Austin. The type of people that will be training with you are like-minded in this sense. They have morning classes, which is rare. I'll miss this gym and hope I can find another like it the next city I move to.

Visiting Austin from Canada. Decided to drop in for a noon class and check out Six Blades. Everyone at the dojo made me feel right at home, and were some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure to spar with. The place was very clean and welcoming, I’ll definitely come back if I ever find myself back in town! Thanks guys:)

I had the pleasure of dropping in for an open mat while traveling in Austin. Incredibly friendly, super clean, and some of the most pleasant savages I've trained with. I was introduced to Victor Hugo, who was super pleasant. I missed Sensei Xande, but if Six Blades is a reflection of his philosophy, I'd imagine he's pretty solid also. Tacia at the desk made everything seamless and easy. Great gym. My only regret is that I don't come to Austin more.
I couldn’t recommend them enough. They have been awesome with my son, teaching him jiu jitsu but also the importance of respect, positive attitude and determination.
Coach Arash and Professor Victor are quite literally world class.

This is the best jiu jitsu you can get around in the austin area. Sensei Xande and professor Alex's technique is second to none. They really know their stuff. Xande has coached world champions and you can really tell by how he talks to you and the way he teaches. This is an excellent school for anyone looking for a clean, family-friendly environment with super friendly staff.

I wished I lived closer. Great academy, great training partners, great coaches. I've trained BJJ for 15 years hard to find BJJ as good as six blades. I come from an old school Ralph Gracie gym this as close as gets.

Amazing location with some fantastic Jiu Jitsu! The instructional staff from the kids to the adults program can't be topped. The location is immaculate and exactly what anyone should look for in a local Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program in Austin!
I grew up in Brazil and have been to BJJ gyms all over the world. I am happy to say that I have found the best school ever.
The place is ran by a Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend, the crew is amazing, people are friendly, place is clean and super tech. The kids program makes you bring the whole family along.

Amazing beginners and advanced programs with expert led instruction. The facility is nice and new with a springboard floor system, which is rare and amazing to work on. It's a killer once in a lifetime opportunity to train here.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, it was important for me to find a BJJ gym that not only provided me with a good teaching experience, but a gym that also cared about keeping me healthy. BJJ is a tough sport on your body and sixblades has a complete program that weens you into the sport decreasing the risk of injury and elevating my performance with each class!!
