Professional coaches who pay close attention to my movements and are ready to offer ways to improve my technique. The gym has a friendly atmosphere and is always clean.

Shaher is incredibly welcoming and warm, and very patient with beginners. He and Al explain the 'why' of movements, not just how to do them. I always felt safe and supported while learning from both of them. The gym is super clean and tidy and you can tell when you walk in the Shaher holds himself to an incredibly high standard. If youre looking to try something new and get fit, I couldn't recommend Shibusa more.

Shaher and Allen are both exceptional teachers. Their teaching style is thoughtful and attentive. The facilities are clean and modern, the gym is welcoming for beginners whilst maintaining a competitive culture for intermediate and advanced BJJ athletes.

Fantastic BJJ gym with skilled, supportive coaches and a welcoming team culture. Every session is fun, challenging, and full of learning. Highly recommend to anyone looking to train and grow on and off the mats!

Having trained around Aus and overseas for over a decade and I can say that BJJ at Shibusa is delivered to an exceptional standard. Shaher does really well to break down complex concepts into small steps which makes understanding and learning techniques manageable for all skill levels. Classes are awesome, culture is great, the mats are the clean, and safety is a priority. Highly recommend.
