Grappling Bros at Belconnen is an incredibly inclusive and welcoming place. My child has been learning jiujutsu and judo here since the start of the year, and the environment has always been friendly and supportive. Head Coach Gabriel is highly professional and wonderfully patient with the kids, his passion and love for teaching are clear in every class. The other coaches are fantastic as well. The children are taught to be respectful, resilient, and confident. A truly great place for kids to learn and grow.

Grappling Bros is absolutely amazing! Gabriel and all of the coaches are fantastic with the kids – patient, encouraging, and fun. Our 5-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son have grown so much in confidence, resilience, and respect. They’re learning skills for life, making great friends, and having a blast every week. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Gabriel and the assistant coaches model respect, discipline, patience and humility to all students. They create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment and remain deeply committed to improving the skills, techniques, and confidence of all who train here. Our two kids feel a genuine sense of belonging here and have learnt many new skills while gaining confidence outside the gym. Grappling Bros is a force for good and highly recommended!

A few months ago we took our 4 and 5 year old boys up for a trial and they loved it so we signed them up. My 5 year old can get quite anxious in group settings but he felt very comfortable here. Gabriel and Phil and all of the instructors are super patient, especially with my youngest son. The environment is welcoming and supportive and the instructors genuinely care about the kids growth.

When my husband first mentioned jiu-jitsu for the kids, I had my doubts. But the moment we stepped into Grappling Bros, I could see how safe, welcoming, and well-structured it was. Gabriel and the coaching team create such a positive environment where every child is supported, encouraged, and looked after. Our kids not only feel safe, they’re thriving — building confidence, making friends, and learning valuable skills for life.
