I have been coming here for over 10 years, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The trainers have so much knowledge and experience and are really approachable. It can feel intimidating as a woman to step into a martial arts club but the people here have made me feel included since day one. Love it here!

My 9-year-old son has been wrestling with Coach Will for over a year now, and the difference in his confidence and strength is truly remarkable. Even on days when I can’t be there, I know my son is in great hands — Coach Will and his assistant coaches treat him like one of their own. Their dedication, patience, and genuine care make all the difference. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on my son’s journey.
Both my sons attend this gym, and Coach Will has been nothing short of exceptional. He’s firm when he needs to be, but always fair, encouraging, and respectful. My boys have gained so much confidence, discipline, and strength under his guidance — not just physically, but mentally too. He’s a true role model who genuinely cares about his students and brings out the best in them. The positive impact he’s had on my sons speaks for itself.
I have been training at Scrappy MMA for 2 years, the gym has a great family vibe. I train there with my son, the coaches put in as much as you give, they have helped sharpen my skills and given my son the perfect foundation in different principles to either compete at a high level or be able to defend himself in everyday life. It is refreshing to train at a gym where you are not just a number, the coaches will support and guide you with whatever avenue you choose to take.

One of the best fight gyms in Perth. Amazing coaching staff (Dan in particular is phenomenal!) who have a myriad of fight experience, great culture in the gym - everybody is friendly and treats you well regardless of the level you’re at. They offer good PT options at reasonable prices, and the venue is big and well equipped. Couldn’t recommend more!
