Great gym. Coach Daan and Laura and their teaching style make it easy to learn new techniques. Their two different perspectives on JiuJitsu really helps with the learning experience. Their teaching styles really work out when teaching people new to the sport and gym. Makes the sport feel very approachable. Gym culture is very healthy as well. Coaches and members are very friendly and welcoming to new people. Nothing bad to say! Great gym to be at! Have a good day!

We’ve had such a great experience at Francis JJ! Our whole family attends and from day one, Coach Daaniel, the owner, has been so welcoming and supportive of our family. He’s always friendly and approachable and really makes you feel part of the community. All the coaches are fantastic, knowledgeable and so patient with the kids. My kids also love the boxing classes with Coach Rinto, and Coach Laura is amazing at motivating and encouraging everyone (kids and adults). We love the community feel and are so happy we found Francis JJ! ❤️

Our kids absolutely love training here! The coaches are fantastic—patient, encouraging, and great at building both skills and confidence in the children. Since joining, we’ve seen our kids grow not only in their jiu-jitsu abilities but also in discipline, respect, and self-belief. The gym has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, and everyone is supportive regardless of experience level. It’s clear that the coaches genuinely care about the development and wellbeing of every student. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend this gym to any family looking for a positive and professional environment for their children to learn jiu-jitsu.
We travel from north of the river just to train at FJJ mainly due to the coaches being experienced adults dedicated to their craft. It's a fantastic community with a safe and welcoming environment for rolling. We do the kids and adults classes!

Wonderful place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Perth including for kids. My daughter was super shy but quickly built her confidence in only a matter of a couple of classes as the coaches are very welcoming, friendly and eager to teach. I decided to learn BJJ here too as a completely brand new beginner to the sport and the experience so far has been the same as my daughter's, warm welcoming and fun. Thank you FJJ!!
Wonderful environment with a great sense of community. Our son has been absolutely loving his time here and is always excited to attend training.
