After one short visit to check out the space for a birthday party, we not only booked the party, but we signed up both of my kids AND my husband for regular classes! And couldn't be happier we did! It was the best birthday party we’ve ever hosted and guests still bring it up because of how fun it was for both kids and parents (where else can you do parents vs kids beachball dodgeball in the dark?!). The reason we immediately signed up for classes was because of how much my son’s countenance changed after doing just a few activities in the dojo. For the rest of the night he was proud, confident, and just joyful! We’ve seen incredible positive changes in both of my kids since beginning classes. Even my husband is thriving with the new challenges presented to him and how good he feels after overcoming them. We drive pretty far for this particular dojo because we feel there is something truly special about Master Maui that we can’t get just anywhere. I highly recommend for parties and both kid and adult classes!

What a great place to learn the martial art of Jiu-jitsu. The teaching is A++++ and Master Maui is an out standing teacher. I have been going for almost 6 months and I can't wait to get to the next class every time. He knows what he is doing and each class is exciting and loads of fun and a blast. I would recommend this class to anyone and everyone and you will love it too and not leave disappointed at all. Don't miss out on a great martial art and learning experience.

Master Maui is the best. He always makes classes fun. Sensei Daron is amazing. He's a gifted teacher and perfect compliment to Master Maui. I've tried many gyms in the area. This is by far my favorite. The instructors help you every step of the way and unlike some other schools, you won't just find Master Maui's name on the door but you will find him training side by side with you and teaching you the skills and techniques he's learned over a lifetime of training. My only regret is not starting my training earlier. It has made my work life better, my home life better, and has been a vehicle for a lot of positive changes in my life. Come in and give it a try.

Maui Saito is an award winning martial artist with great experience teaching children. My son is currently enrolled in his youngest group of students and I've been impressed by the improvements in strength and endurance that have occurred over the past six months. In his age group, the emphasis is on physical conditioning rather than defense through the use of drills and aerobic exercises masked as games that are developmentally appropriate and always positive in scope. We looked at a bunch of schools, including most traditional Tae Kwon Do and Karate schools in the East Valley, and we've had the best experience at this one by far!

This place is the best, the teaching and facilities are wonderful. Both of my kids take classes here, and have learned so much, from self defense skills to life skills. You really feel like you are part of a family with Master Maui and Sensei Daron. I've watched a number of adult classes as well. All I can say is I wish this place had been an option back in my martial arts days!
