Our family loves Satori! Professor Esdras is an amazing teacher who understands how to teach to his students’ ages and skill level incredibly well. Our youngest two (11 and 14) have been training with him for 2 years now and have loved their journey. He doesn’t just teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he instills lifelong values of mastering self-discipline, respect and the importance of making, working towards and reaching goals.

My daughter has been doing jujitsu for a few months now , she definitely enjoys the atmosphere coaches are absolutely amazing very attentive to all the kids making sure they are learning , very friendly professional people. Recommend for adults and kids . It’s very clean every time I come in with my kids I can smell the fresh aroma . They have a neat bathroom with supplies if needed , changing areas which is such a plus .

My son began his BJJ journey back 2019 with an interruption during the pandemic and later again most recently with a health issue. Along the way he has been a member of 3 gyms and each one has contributed something to his growth but none of them have impacted him as much as Satori has. Professor Esdras has a unique way of connecting with kids. He has been instrumental in my son's continued BJJ development. His coaches do a great job as well. We cant wait to see how Satori continues to grow and evolve.if your a parent on the fence about where to take your kids you should give Satori a try chances are you will love what you see and so will your kids.

My kids (7 and 5) love Satori BJJ! Professor Esdras has been incredible at building their confidence! They ask to go everyday, and with classes five times a week, it’s been worth every penny. We’ve already seen them improving so much, and they’re having fun while doing it. We’re so grateful for Professor Esdras and the positive environment he’s created! 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely LOVE Satori Jiu Jitsu. My daughter moved here from another school and we love it. Professor Esdras is so good with her and so are all the other kids. My daughter is the smallest and it feels like the kids are all one big family. Facilities are clean Professor and great and knows so much Price point is awesome too A great school for your kids!!!

I’ve been a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner for 22 years, and a black belt since 2015, and I can confidently say that Satori Jiu-Jitsu is one of the best academies I’ve trained at. The head instructor, Esdras, is a fantastic teacher and coach who excels in guiding students of all levels and ages. We can’t recommend Professor Esdras and Satori BJJ enough! Our kids have been his students for over 4 years and their growth both on and off the mats has been a beautiful experience for us as parents to watch. Esdras has taught them structure, accountability, patience, discipline and the list goes on. I have no doubt that their role as students in his class has helped lead them outside of the gym with self confidence and personal strength. As a father to a young girl, I wanted my daughter to develop a skill to defend herself in bad situations. Putting her in his class 4 years ago was one of the best decisions my wife and I ever made with regards to her. Five stars isn’t enough for Satori BJJ and Professor Esdras.

Sensei Esdras is very Kool Nice Teacher, Very knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that every technique of Brazilian Satori Jujitsu I well explained verbally and physically. I’ve been training with professor Esdras and this group for a year now and it’s been life changing! They are all very welcoming to everyone. I’m a female who had never trained any type of martial art before and they settled my nerves the moment I walked in, and connections continued to grow from there. Professor Esdras is a great instructor who encourages everyone and takes his time to show movements in multiple ways. The group is also fun and encouraging and has turned into a second family. I did not expect this sport to impact me as much as it has both on and off the mats and I thank professor and the group for that. I had an amazing experience here at SATORI BJJ Academy! Grateful for Professor Esdras Jr and the rest of the team for their hospitality while i train there, the facility is top-notch, and the training environment is extremely welcoming. This is a phenomenal place to practice, whether you're a beginner or advanced. Here at SATORI professor Esdras Jr was extremely accommodating to me, with regard to both my skill level and pre-existing injuries. And he’s always makes sure my safety comes 1st. So if you’re looking for a place to learn self-defense or to get back into the jiu-jitsu scene again or even if to just get back in shape and be more active this is the place to be.

Great training atmosphere with wholesome students and instructor. Every student is always willing to learn, improve and help others with less experience; no egos here. Always a pleasure walking through those doors and forgetting about the world for an hour and getting a great workout in. Let’s take this from the beginning. Change is hard and finding the right BJJ community after leaving one you have been with for 4 years was the most fearful, and chaotic experience. However, I happened to try out a class where Professor Esdras was teaching at the time and I felt super comfortable and in my element. But what made it special was the people (my fellow) teammates. It’s very rare to make a true connection in an instant but I am very grateful for the unparalleled opportunities. Professors knowledge, his insight to the craft and the ability to have a meaningful conversation is truly a gift that i am thankful to be a part of. As an older female training in this craft especially at this gym, i can say without a doubt that EVERYONE there not only helps you but encourages. Yes there are other woman that are exceptional and are YOUR biggest fan. Its truly a safe space and It’s the GIRL POWER we share.
