  My family- ages 5 to adult all joined! Being new to martial arts, we were intimidated, but Jacob and Kristina have made it a wonderful experience for all of us. It’s a great work out and makes me feel more confident in self defense situations for myself and my kids. Definitely recommend coming here, even if you have no prior experience!

  So far great experiences with Ares BJJ PHX! I sparked interest and was instantly contacted by Kristina (who is amazing). Kristina was able to get me into a class and was a huge support during my time at the gym! She was so sweet with my little and made the first class a positive experience. Coach Jacob is amazing and patient with the kiddos! Very positive in his teaching with a great expectation! My son enjoyed him and the class! Coach Michael was also so great and had fun with the kids! We did the trial classes before our commitment to the gym! We are members now :)

  Absolutely love Christina and Jacob! They are both so great with the kids. My son does the kids program and he is so excited to go everyday! If you are looking they have a great program that's also affordable

  Run by a family who cares! Jacob has been a great coach! He takes the time with all of his students, teaching them good mechanics. Kristina runs the desk and takes time to check in with all the families and students on a regular basis.
