Just done 2 classes of jiu jitsu while abroad from Wales, cardiff. Really welcoming and down to earth coach. Willing to put effort and time into new faces which you don’t see very often. Will definitely be returning any chance I get. Thank you (Omar)

came in for a session while on holidays, john was very nice and enthusiastic, took his time explaining techniques i didn’t fully understand. 10/10 can’t wait to come back and train here again

Satori is a great place to train. I started a while back and have really enjoyed it since. John and Pat are excellent coaches who really know their stuff. They explain things clearly and are always happy to help if something isn’t clicking. The atmosphere is chilled and welcoming. No egos, just people training and helping each other get better. Whether you’re brand new or have some experience, you’ll fit in quickly. Classes are well run with a good mix of technique, drilling, and rolling. It’s something I genuinely look forward to every week. If you’re thinking about trying BJJ or just want a good gym with good people, I’d definitely recommend it.

My son has been attending Satori since he was 3 yrs old and in that time his confidence has flourished. Their kids ABCJ program is top class. The coaches have the highest qualifications and their teaching and rapport with their students is outstanding

Absolutely outstanding kids’ program! My son has been training at this BJJ academy since he was just 3 years old, and the growth we’ve seen—both on and off the mats—has been incredible. The coaches have an amazing rapport with the children, balancing discipline, fun, and encouragement in a way that truly connects with young minds. They create a safe, supportive, and confidence-building environment where kids thrive. I can’t recommend this academy enough for families looking to give their children a strong, respectful, and empowering start in martial arts.
