I started Bjj in November in 2025 and and I loved it. I went to the tournament in April and I am a white belt with one stripe and I adore Bjj I totally recommend it and Sam and Vicky are amazing coaches.

In August of 2025, I decided to try out Samson BJJ with much hesitation and nervousness as one can have. At the time, I was coming off an injury, but wanted to try Brazilian Jujitsu for crossing training and fitness reasons. Samson was instructing and what was immediately apparent to me was his passion and care for his students and the sport. I can say the first class was a lesson in humility, but Samson, Vicky and his students made me fill welcomed and I did return and have so ever since. Including competing in a tournament in December. I can also say that Samson BJJ is welcoming, well run and a great environment for learning this tough but addictive sport. It's not for everyone (I'm still not sure if its for me:) - but if you are going to try it out I can give no higher recommendation than Samson BJJ.

We were watching this dojo by with a coming soon sign since last year. Once they opened up we took our oldest daughter, 10, for a tryout. Vicky was very welcoming and made our daughter feel really at ease. Sam, the master instructor is outstanding. We signed up right away and my daughter absolutely looks forward to this class everyday. It's the only extra curricular that she begs to go to. Our younger daughter ,6, also joined and I think I will sign up soon. Great community with the best instructor in Toronto. Our daughters are already competing in tournaments. Wish I could give 8 stars!

Sam, Vicky, and the whole team here are incredible. This is an amazing community for my family to be a part of - supportive and positive and a journey of learning and growth. Highly recommend!

I have trained with Sam for approximately 10 years. His program is safe, fun, and effective. His level of commitment to each student is second to none. If you come check it you will not be disappointed.
