Being a part of this art form - and especially this school - has given me so much confidence and happiness!   I felt welcomed when I joined the school. Mestre Jamaika and his high ranking students are friendly, welcoming and helpful during their classes. It did not take long to realize I am a part of an awesome community with strong bond.

  These Capoeira classes in Downtown Salt Lake City are super fun, energetic, and educational - for beginners or advanced students alike, the experience is top-class and the real Brazilian deal. Salt Lake City is very lucky to have world-renowned Mestre Jamaika sharing his Capoeira knowledge and martial-arts training in a purpose built dance studio located at the Utah Arts Hub of Salt Lake City. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great workout, to make new diverse friends, and participate in this rad Capoeira music and martial-arts culture brought straight from Brazil. Cheers-

  Mestre Jamaika is an incredible teacher. He is world renowned and is by far the best in Utah!!!! Capoeira is so engaging I don't realize how much I am working while I'm there. I am in the best shape of my life, and I am having lots of fun while doing it!

  This place was a life changing experience from the first day I, very hesitantly, decided to just "try it out" and I have been addicted to capoeira ever since! You have the only master of this martial art in ALL of Utah teaching here, straight from Bahia! You're not going to get the kind of knowledge and experience from an individual anywhere else in Utah, don't pass up the opportunity from a world renowned capoeira master. On top of that, this group is full of extremely talented musicians, acrobats, teachers, dancers, and many beginner students, too!
