I’ve been at Ryan’s for a little over 7 months now & I can honestly say it’s been life changing. As a woman I feel safe and welcome but also challenged. Additionally, Ryan & Logan (and all other coaches) truly care about their students. I recently misplaced a very important piece of jewelry and Ryan has gone out of his way to try and find it for me, just confirming my belief that his care extends past the mats. A Fantastic Start at Ryan Thomas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! I've only been training at Ryan Thomas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for two weeks, and I'm already hooked! As a complete beginner, walking into a new martial arts gym can be intimidating, but that couldn't be further from the truth here. From the very first class, the coaches were incredibly welcoming and patient, breaking down techniques and concepts in a way that was easy to understand. They're clearly passionate about Jiu-Jitsu and dedicated to helping everyone learn and improve. What truly sets Ryan Thomas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu apart is the amazing community. Every student I've encountered has been incredibly inviting and helpful. They're always willing to offer tips, answer questions, and provide encouragement, creating a supportive and positive learning environment. I've been amazed at how quickly I'm starting to grasp the fundamentals, thanks to the guidance of both the coaches and my fellow students. Beyond the excellent instruction and camaraderie, the facility itself is impeccably clean. It's clear that the gym takes pride in maintaining a hygienic and well-organized space, which is essential for a close-contact sport like Jiu-Jitsu. Most importantly, I'm having an absolute blast! I look forward to every class and leave feeling energized and motivated. My son (6yo) joined and loved it. I joined myself shortly after. Ryan is great with kids and adults. Extremely helpful and easily reachable for questions. Everyone that trains there has been more than helpful and willing to teach. It is very addicting and great to help get into shape.
Feels like my second home, i honestly dont know how id be able handle every day life without this gym and coach. You always feel welcome and the teaching is amazing. Ryan's gym is great place to start a great hobby! Come see us.
My youngest at 5 just started jiu-jitsu here. She has been to class 3 times and absolutely loves it. After every class she has continually asked, "How many more sleeps until my next one?" I was a bit skeptical the first class due to the size. I looked at my husband and said, can't wait to see how this goes! Thinking it would be like wrangling wild cats. To our suprise Ryan organized all of the 4-8 year old perfectly. Each class has been something new and he keeps it fun for all ages. We would highly recommend!
Grandson has just finished his first of many years to come with Ryan and his team. Grandson has loved the experience, training and challenges that comes with BJJ. Ryan Thomas is a great role model for kid. Class is very well managed with great technique, control and instruction. Cool to see the Adults so willing to help with all other kids. WERE HOOKED!!! My daughter has only been in class for a few weeks but she already loves Jiu Jitsu. She's always asking when her next class is and walks into class every time smiling and ready to go. Ryan and his staff are great and patient with the kids. Would absolutely recommend!

I’ve known Ryan for over a year and he’s so calm and patient. I hate to see one disgruntled person take extreme action to ruin a reputation when it is solely a reflection of his own actions. Ryan is a great teacher, passionate about what he does, professional, and a great person overall.
