Summus is like a second home. The quality of people and beauty of the academy is unmatched in my family's twelve years of training across the country. Instruction is extremely detailed and has helped me advance my knowledge. The training pushes you, but everyone on the mat has a humility and genuine love for their training partners that keeps rolling fun and enjoyable. You'll be hard pressed to find a better academy to learn, grow, and improve.

I started at Summus Jiu Jitsu a year ago and can honestly say it has one of the strongest and friendliest communities I have experienced in my 4 year career as a Jiu Jitsu practitioner. What I love the most about this academy is that I have seen a high degree of personal growth on and off the mat. Also, that I was able to grow along with others who push me to be better, support me, and have become genuine friends. The environment is welcoming and informative from the coaches that run the classes, to the newer members of the school. The facility in general is always clean and inviting for people who want to try out something fun and new that can improve their lives. Overall, I would highly recommend this school to anyone who would like to start their Jiu Jitsu journey, as well as to those who are more seasoned in the sport.

I’ve been to many gyms and trained with a lot of good people. I have to say that Summus is at the very top of my list. Not only is the culture very friendly and uplifting but all the coaches really enjoy what they do. The people are all very helpful and fun. My favorite part is how clean the gym is. Highly recommend Summus to anyone looking to begin the Jiu Jitsu journey!
