This gym deserves 6-stars. First off, the Professors are extremely knowledgeable and understand the concept of teaching to all levels (white belt -black belt), kids/adult. The classes and schedule adapts to and fits into all types of working schedules. If you work mornings, you can attend the later classes. If you work later in the day, you can attend the earlier classes. It’s a very adaptable gym. The atmosphere is a very good learning atmosphere whereas when you are new, you won’t feel out of place with others having more stripes or a higher belt color. Everyone helps everyone. It’s a “No one gets left behind mentality”. The gym is always clean and ALL STAFF are very professional. If you are looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym they will definitely test your character, but teach as well RŌL ACADEMY is the gym to come to.

I can’t say enough good things about rol. From the moment you walk in everyone is friendly, from the parents waiting on the students in class or the office team. Walking into a Jiu Jitsu gym could be intense or intimidating. Not here. They make rol a welcoming, warm, family orientated facility. They present themselves great in their online presence, but the in person experience is even greater. If you’re on the fence, just go. My daughter, 7 started here about a year ago. It has been a wonderful experience for us all. The teachers provide structure, but keep each class fun and interesting. She was recently diagnosed with ADHD and we have noticed that jui jitsu is a perfect activity to help with discipline/self control but also meets her sensory seeking needs. I have been going here for 3-4 months now. So far it has been the best decision i have made. The professor is great, the coaches are great, the people are great. Edit: Yesterday was my One Year anniversary at RŌL. It feels like time went so fast. I can confidently say that i am not the same person that started 1 year ago. I have been pushed to be better practitioner, training partner, friend, by the professor and all the friends i have made. I highly recommend RŌL if want want to make some changes in your life. You can just train, compete, or be a part of a great community. P.S: I went from 296lbs last year to to 249 as of this writing just training.

I started my Jiu Jitsu career almost 2 years ago after turning 50 years old and was a little nervous because of my age. I was a wrestler in the 1980’s at St. Rita High School and always wanted to do martial arts but never did until after retirement. Since coming to Rol Academy and working under Professor Thomas it has been absolutely amazing! I love being on the mats with all the other hard working guys and girls. I try to train intelligently because of my age because my goal is to continue until earning a black belt. Amazing for learning beginner Jui Jitsu. They have so many options available for different classes and instructors it’s the best place to be. They have something called RŌL TV. They have hundreds of short but very detailed videos going through everything taught in the classes. It’s absolutely game changing to watch the video before you go to class to get an idea of what’s going on so when you are in the class you can focus on all of the smaller details and you have an idea of what to do already because of RŌL tv. Everything they offer is amazing and they have the best people there. Every instructor and student is amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This is the place to be if you're looking for a warm, engaging, competitive AND family-friendly environment. All of the instructors are knowledgeable, welcoming and enthusiastic. We started off with only my wife and I, and now we have 3 of our kids fully engaged here. ROL is a great place to get fit, build confidence, and learn to protect yourself.

Since the day I began attending Rōl, I knew it would be a place I would to attend more. It started as 1 day a week and 2 years later, I find myself coming in 4-6 days a week. From the facility, the variety of classes offered, ranging from fundamentals to striking to Tacfit to NoGI, to the staff, to the coaches, even to the extra offerings like Rōl TV and seminars, it’s enjoyable every time in. Worth every minute spent there.

I joined this school June 9th 2023 for the $99 special! What a good deal my mind told me, also if you want to quit or you get injured you can always give a 30 day notice and you can end the membership. Well now its been 5 months and I really love this school! The professors, the students, everyone is cool. They teach top level jiu jitsu techniques and everyone I have rolled with has been pretty cool. I'm one of the oldest guys in the school and its cool rolling with the younger stronger guys and no one is trying to take my head off! They don't take it easy on me either. There is a nice balance. I plan to continue with this school as long as I can. I have no regrets! I just wish I could come more days a week, but I have a wife and young daughter that also want my time so I make it work and practice on the weekends for now. There is plenty of mat space so come on down! Also the mats are very clean and the place is clean. The area is nice, close to everything.

Love coming here. Jiu Jitsu has been a great way of decompressing after a stressful day. The instructors do a great job of teaching. In addition, the more experienced members always give great pointers and tips. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new hobby or good workout outside the gym.

ROL staff are top notch. From the front desk to the Instructors on the mats. I’ve been a member for a few years. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Their support is undeniably the best from Professor Thomas’ videos, to his entertaining and informative podcasts. All around, ROL is great for all ages, including young kids to older adults, like me.
