  ATTENTION, after initially trying to be friendly and after signing the contract, we always encountered a very unfriendly owner couple. We would ! after signing the contract ! Absolutely not taken seriously, my child became more and more unhappy there, my really very sporty son was not supported and he is not the only child who throws in the towel in disappointment. The main thing is that you pay the monthly fee on time (long contract commitment is desired), this is important. Unfortunately, I can only recommend that you avoid this gym at all costs.

  Hello. My son has been training since March. He's super happy. He is a conscientious child and tries to do everything as best as he can. I don't understand comments like "they choose children" it's not kindergarten, it's training for which parents pay and want the child to learn something and not fool around and ignore the trainer. I believe that discipline is the key to every training. This principle works there and the approach to children is appropriate. My son comes back fulfilled and he is only 5 years old. Great 👌 I recommend it to everyone

  Not recommendable! After my three children and I trained intensively (2015 - 2018) (BJJ, Nogi, MMA, boxing), after some time we noticed character changes on the part of the Krause family. These changes to some individuals occurred on and off the mat. In my opinion, there was too much negative talk and judgment (by Patrick Krause and Inez Krause) about politics, members' finances, successful teams and team colleagues. I found the owners to be dissatisfied and listless in many situations. At some point I found the whole request for money to be used for their own birthdays and trips unpleasant. Before you commit to a contract, I recommend asking former members of this gym for their opinion (several of my former team colleagues now train in other Hamburg gyms). In 2021 I met former members, which prompted me to write this review. The sport was, in my opinion, very poorly represented by the Krause family, as was the name Gracie. The focus here was on the owner family's own ego, the (desired) success of their own three sons and the desire to celebrate themselves. I felt sorry for the young people who thought they had found a sporting home. Especially unsuitable for children, young people and families!

  Super great gym, highly recommended. Great team, very helpful and super great trainers. In addition, you can only praise the atmosphere, you are immediately warmly welcomed. If you want to train and learn something, you should definitely go to Renzo Gracie.

  I have been training with Renzo Gracie Hamburg since the beginning of September and can only recommend it to anyone who wants to practice martial arts under professional supervision in Hamburg. Whether BJJ, NoGi, MMA or kickboxing. There is something for everyone here. The training sessions are intensive, demanding and varied. If you are looking for competent trainers who can impart and pass on their knowledge and extensive experience, you have definitely come to the right place. Each individual is treated individually in order to improve their sporting and technical skills in martial arts and to get the best out of people. In addition to the training sessions for adults, the training plan also includes training groups for kids ages 5 and up. There is a pleasant and familiar atmosphere in the Renzo Gracie Hamburg team, so that you can have something to laugh about during training while you fight your inner weaker self. Great value is placed on respectful cooperation! I felt in good hands and welcome here from the start. Regardless of whether you are a beginner, advanced, amateur athlete or performance-oriented, head coach Patrick Krause is the right place for you when it comes to high-quality martial arts in the areas of BJJ, NoGi, MMA or kick/Thai boxing! The premises are clean and equipment is well maintained. So for all in all I give it 5 stars.
