I just started at Rev MMA and I can already tell I picked the right gym. Walking into an MMA gym for the first time can be intimidating, but from day one everyone made me feel welcome. The coaches took the time to learn my name, explained things clearly, and made sure I understood the basics before moving on. The other members have been just as great. People introduced themselves, offered tips during drills, and partnered with me without any attitude. There are no egos here, just people who want to help each other get better. If you're new to martial arts and nervous about getting started, this is the place to do it. Highly recommend!
Posted 1 week agoOur experience with this gym has been amazing! From the first walk through of the facility to the first class, we’ve been provided stellar services and provided clear instructions. The teachers are truly knowledgeable about the art and really know how to make it fun for the kids! My son Omari looks forward to going to class to learn new things but also to socialize with all the other amazing students. We want to thank Mira for her assistance with my husband and son! She was also stellar with me as a mom who doesn’t really understand the whole process in just walking me through the steps to get my son ready for his second class. I truly look forward to building with RevMMA for my son and his confidence!
Posted 1 week agoAmazing! So, I’ve attended 4 Muay Thai classes till date; 3 with Lakshman and 1 with Mckyle. Both have been great. Recommendation: Im new to this world and I didn’t know what a jab, cross, hook, teep is and I understand that it’s a mixed skill class and no coach can start from basics but is it possible to include a lil training/basics video in the joining email? These training videos could be of coaches of Rev or of any person on the YouTube. I also, didn’t know the importance of hand wraps before the gloves and how to wrap got hand. So, while at it a ‘how to wrap your hands for Muay Thai’ would really be helpful. Other than this, the overall experience has been wonderful and I look forward to my classes here. It really gets my heart rate up. It makes me feel the need to be more fit. It gives a feel good feeling post the class. It makes me confident too. Ample parking helps too.
Posted 2 weeks agoI’ve had an amazing experience at REV MMA. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about helping students improve, whether you’re a complete beginner or have previous martial arts experience. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a welcoming atmosphere that makes training enjoyable. What stands out most is the supportive community and the professionalism of the instructors. Every class is well-structured, challenging, and motivating. I’ve gained confidence, improved my fitness, and learned valuable skills in a safe environment. I highly recommend REV MMA to anyone looking to learn martial arts, get in shape, or be part of a positive and encouraging team. Five stars!
Posted 4 months agoOur little girl joined the Munchkin class at Rev MMA Jiu-Jitsu in late April and we already see such a positive difference in her confidence. She had been dealing with bullying at school, and this class has helped her feel stronger, more confident, and more willing to engage with other kids. She is an only child and usually very quiet, in crowds, but she now looks forward to every class and has so much fun. The energy in the class is amazing, and the coaches do an incredible job balancing fun, discipline, focus, and learning. They know how to connect with the kids, keep them engaged, and gently bring them back when they lose focus. Enrolling her at Rev MMA (North York) was a great decision. We have no regrets and are truly grateful for the confidence, joy, and growth this class is bringing out in her, in such a short tine. Highly recommend!
