When I first began my journey into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I didn’t know where to begin. But when I discovered Renzo Gracie Garwood and began my classes there, I knew there was no better school in New Jersey to learn this martial art! Prof Carlos “Bronco” Oliviera, Prof Zanete, Prof Alex, and Prof Helio were instrumental in helping me learn the basics and help train all students at the school to improve and grow their skills and abilities both physically and mentally! The community in the school is fantastic and supportive as well as the more experienced practitioners are always eager to help new students correct deficiencies and master new techniques! Thiago Angelon is one best instructors Ive ever had the pleasure of training with. His knowledge, demeanor and personality make the absorption of technique simple. My twin boys (7) also trained with him, both MMA and jiujitsu. He runs one of the best kids classes ever! Thiago Angelon is the absolute best! Great instructor, great man, and with make you feel apart of the family!

My daughter has been training at Renzo Gracie Garwood and I can’t say enough about the experience. She’s only 3 but they treat her with so much patience, respect, and encouragement. The coaches have this amazing balance of discipline and fun, and it shows in the way the kids grow more confident with each class. I’ve watched her not only learn technique, but also build focus, courage, and self-control. She looks forward to class every time, and as a parent, it means the world to see her thriving like this. We highly recommend Renzo Gracie Garwood!

Renzo Gracie Garwood is an incredible place to train, with a welcoming environment and top-notch instruction. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about each student’s progress. This is an awesome place to train at! The gym is very clean and well taken care of. Very friendly staff, fun kids class, great instructor. Would 100% recommend to beginners and higher ranked belts.
