Lovely, friendly, open gym for all ages and genders. Coach Dino is a sweet and caring teacher, always offering you tea and coffee, making sure you can access the gym regardless of any barriers (economic, social, etc). Everybody teaches each other in this gym, and everybody is helped to make themselves at home. Come try, you won’t regret it
Posted 8 months agoI was on a city trip in Ireland and asked last minute if I could drop in for training. I got a quick reply and was welcomed right away. The gym was easy to find, super clean, with great mats and solid wall protection. I was greeted warmly with a coffee (a really good one!), and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. The techniques were awesome—lots of cool details—and I even left with some great rashguards, shorts and spats. The team was very friendly, helpful, and genuinely there to support you. The coach focuses a lot on playing from bottom, which I really enjoyed, and I felt welcome to return anytime I’m back in Ireland. If you want to toughen up while training with a fun, welcoming team, this is definitely the place to go!
Posted 8 months agoGreat Coach and family environmental. I have been training with Dino over 3 years. He always supported me and helped me getting ready for competition. Here is a place that you will feel welcome and gonna develop your jiujitsu
Posted 2 years agoConsidering I am 48 years young, I joined rebel bjj last February. The moment I walked in the door I felt at ease. It’s a beautiful club, spotless mats and an atmosphere u want to train in. Every single student of Dinos, welcomed me, and spent time teaching me. Dino is a fantastic coach , passionate about his students and their success. Dino always looked out for me as he understood I’m 48, the body doesn’t move like it did at 28, most importantly when I trained in the mornings Dino made me the best coffee in the world with a touch of vanilla 😀. Love ya Dino.. keep going..
Posted 11 months agoI had a negative experience at Rebel BJJ. The students were very kind and welcoming, but the instructor was not. Instead of constructive feedback, I was told my Jiu-Jitsu “sucks” and that I shouldn’t have my belt. As a visitor, I expected respect and professionalism, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I cannot recommend this academy.
