My son has been training at RADA Jiu Jitsu for about a year now, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. I joined RADA last week, already attended 10 classes and I’m addicted! Everyone of the professors are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Kindness is important. Very helpful to new students, aware of our lack of technique so they ensure we know what to do and how to do it and why it’s important. They take the time to demonstrate a move or concept numerous times then have us do it while walking around ensuring we are doing it correctly and even going back to show us a few tips we may have missed. Young or old, big or small, athletic or not, they’re accommodating to everyone and bring the same helpful mentality to each class. Highly recommend to everyone and if you’re a female looking to join, they have a female black belt professor too!!

Beautiful. I would go to Rafael just to play on the mats. The professionalism is very much respected. I appreciate that about this club. Exceptionally clean! Instruction was cool. The roll I had was awesome. Super professional Professor. I like that. I felt safe and wished I stayed longer. It's a $30 drop in fee. I brought a bottle of Proper 12 instead and it was cool. I'd like to get some more rolls in there sometime and get to know them more. Thank you for having me and making me feel welcome. oss.

I’ve trained Brazilian Jiu jitsu for 10 years in many academies in the world, with a doubt RADA is the most friendly and profesional of them all. It has many schedules and for all levels. If you are in San Diego and like to train BJJ , training at RADA is a must .

Great and super clean gym with excellent instruction, friendly environment and welcoming students. Professors Rafael, Eduardo and Fernanda are knowledgeable and skilled black belts who always give their best when teaching techniques and pay very close attention to every student to make sure you have an injury free training. Higher belts are always willing to help and are trustworthy partners. Kids classes are top notch too! They teach kids self defense, discipline, respect and Jiu-Jitsu while having fun and working out physically and mentally. I cannot say enough good things about this academy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to train Jiu Jitsu, whether you have tons of experience or it’s your first time, you can’t go wrong with this place!

I’ve had a great experience training at Clark Gracie La Jolla. Not only are the students and teachers dedicated and skilled, but the school has a friendly vibe that is welcoming for beginners as well as experienced fighters. Rafael, Eduardo, Allen and Bill are experienced and knowledgeable professors, but what I really like about them is how they genuinely care about seeing their students grow and improve in Jiu-jitsu. Amazing place to learn and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Clark and Rafael are definitely some of the top Jiu-Jitsu instructors in San Diego. A very welcoming and family oriented environment. I've been training here since I moved to California and have always had a very positive experience. It's a great place to train whether you're a beginner or a high level competitor. Awesome gym! Head instructor Rafael has an effective, methodical approach to teaching a masterful system of Jiu Jitsu grappling. He is an experienced competitor - IBJJF American Nationals Champion for four years in a row. He is very approachable, and carries a vast knowledge of the martial art. Really cool people/team here as well. Super tough too! Classes for kids as well. Jiu jitsu is excellent for developing discipline, instilling confidence and boosting self esteem - not to mention great exercise. Great place to train, whether you are a newbie to the game or a veteran grappler.

if you want a gym that you can train for a lifetime, this is it. When i first moved to San diego, i was reluctant to walk into any random academy, but i'm so glad that the first gym i walked into happens to be the best one. Professors are very professional and knowledgable (also highly qualified). Very welcoming environment with very friendly students. I've made great friends and everyone encourages me to try harder. We love this place. They have amazing beginner kids classes with quality black belt Brazilian instructors. The classes 45 min and the kids get to learn, practice and play. My son was reluctant to start any martial arts class at all! We took him to other studios and same result. When we first started at La Jolla Gracie Clark Ju Jitsu he also was very reluctant to even try but after only a couple weeks he was looking forward towards each class! I highly recommend this place for those parents who are looking for quality Ju Jitsu training for their kids. It's a very friendly, family oriented place where kids can grow to love this sport.
