I called ahead and spoke with Travis to let him know I’d be coming by. When I arrived at Profectus, Logan greeted me at the door—literally opened it for me—and welcomed me in like I was already part of the team. He walked me over to the desk to sign the waiver, and the whole vibe was so warm and friendly that I almost felt like I’d been there before. When class started, Logan was professional, articulate, and clear in his instruction. It was an open-format class focused on positioning with time for questions. He took time during every drill to give individual feedback and even coached while rolling. On top of that, everyone I rolled with was both tough and incredibly nice. Great training environment with a great group of people. Highly recommend Profectus if you’re in the Nashville/Hendersonville area!
Posted 8 months agoI Highly recommend joining Profectus jiu-jitsu Hendersonville’s Gym!! Not only is it beneficial for your mind and body but the Coaches are amazing. Coach Logan is so great with the kids and really takes time to work with their individual strengths and struggles. For the Adults Professor Travis truly cares for all his students helps guide them to strive with high quality techniques that can be used with all belt ranks and takes time to listen to your concerns, walks you thru how to correct to improve your performance and makes it a great environment for everyone. This also is such an excellent and safe place for women to train. I train here along with my husband and our two young boys. We are so happy we found a place that fits all our individual jujitsu’s journeys needs. Thank you Travis and Logan For making your gym feel like home.
Posted 1 year agoI started training at Profectus Hendersonville a few months ago after taking a long layoff from jiu jitsu. Was slightly nervous to get back into it but Travis immediately made me feel right at home in the gym along with everyone else training with me. We have a great group of guys and girls with plenty of great training partners.I tell everyone they should train and of course I recommend Profectus!
Posted 1 year agoI’ve been training at Profectus for 6 months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Having come from another gym in the area where I had a less-than-ideal experience, Profectus has been a breath of fresh air. The instructors, Professor Travis and Coach Logan, are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, creating a welcoming environment for practitioners of all skill levels. My wife and two sons (10 and 14) also train here, and we all appreciate how Profectus fosters a family-friendly atmosphere. The community is fantastic—everyone is friendly, encouraging, and always willing to help each other improve. Whether you’re a seasoned grappler or a complete beginner, Profectus is the perfect place to learn and grow in jiu-jitsu. Highly recommend!
Posted 1 year agoProfectus has been wonderful for me and my family over the last 3 years. My stepson started jiujitsu at Profectus in 2022, his dad started on August of 2024 and they inspired me to start in January 2025. As a woman in my 40s, the idea of starting a new activity, especially an activity like jiujitsu was a bit overwhelming and scary, but Professor Travis and Professor Logan are the best. The group of women at Profectus are the most inspiring and welcoming group. I have quickly fallen in love with the sport and the community that Profectus has given my family. I HIGHLY recommend Profectus for anyone thinking about going a gym.
