From the first day I came in to place of peace bjj I felt like I was family. Craig and Dez gave me a lot of attention and support while preparing for matches, and it inspired me to pass on the love and hardwork. I couldn't say enough good things about this gym, no matter what age range you're in place of peace will take good care of you!

Dez is an excellent instructor for all experience ranges!!! He’s a great teacher, practitioner and representation of BJJ. He’s passionate about helping bjj, his students and athletes. His insight and dedication shines through in everything he touches. It’s a joy to know him as a man and an honor to train with him. He is one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet and also one of the toughest guys I have ever encountered.

One of the best schools on the east coast. Both the coaches and students will motivate you to be the best athlete you can become, no matter your goals. I would recommend giving this gym a try first if you are just starting out or looking for a new place to train in the area.

I was visiting the area and reached out to Dez. He was extremely responsive via email. I arrived for my 1st session and everyone there was so welcoming. The level of explanation is very clear, and well thought out. This is an excellent place and I highly encourage everyone to check it out.

It’s not an ordinary gym. IT’S LIFE CHANGING! The PEOPLE here are CHAMPIONS! The INSTRUCTION is off the CHARTS! All I can say is “TRY IT!”. It’s “THE PLACE OF PEACE”.

We went to the kids class on Sunday mornings at 0900 and Aaron was my children’s teacher. My daughter has mild Cerebral Palsy and he was so amazing with her!!

Went to the JT Torres seminar that they recently had and it was one of the best experiences that I’ve had in my jiu jitsu career. The instructors and students here are very knowledgeable and willing to help anyway possible. I also see the detail that they put in when teaching kids and adult classes. Very helpful people and very nice and pleasant atmosphere. Two thumbs up 👍 Great environment. Great instruction. Very clean and beautiful facility. I love the all white and black.
