Martinez Bjj and MMA is one of a kind. There is no other jujitsu school like it anywhere on the planet. You leave your ego at the door and you work your butt off from the minute you step on the matt. You get back what you give and if you don't cheat the grind you will be tranformed into the best version of yourself. It's something money cannot buy. 5 stars doesn't give the place justice. It's far greater then that.

I have been doing martial arts my whole life. I am an owner at a martial arts school. Nothing gets me more excited than the details and that's what I get here. I wish I could give more stars. Very friendly environment. Will Martinez is a UFC corner and legend in this art, you are wasting your time if you have access to this facility and you are not using it.

Very good kids program. Teaches discipline, focus and self-defense. Self defense classes, open mat, check website for schedules. Adult classes are also available.

Best martial arts school in Philadelphia, hands down. This school produces great fighters competing in multiple organizations, including UFC. They also have an amazing program for kids.

I visit gyms pretty frequently and I must say this spot has everything anyone seeking a competitive environment should look for. Wide range of skill and sizes, very cordial and welcoming atmosphere for newcomers and they even have showers which tends to be pretty rare in my experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a solid team of competitive folks.

Amazing place for learning jiu-jitsu, muy thai, and self defense. They are reasonably priced. Offering classes for men, women and children. With classes running 7 days a week. Go check them out!!!!

I've found a home here and love the family atmosphere they have. We all try to make each other better and give support on and off the mat. I left a place after 12.5 years and came to Martinez BJJ and this is home for me. All the coaches are great and Will is one of the best coaches and still competes alongside his team. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

Martinez Bjj is the Top Bjj school in the northeast, and one of the best in the area! I've been taking my kids here for 7 Years! i couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else! All the instructors are Top notch! after 5.5 years of watching I finally decided to step on the mats and i can honestly say it was the best decision i ever made! After a 1.5 years of training i have lost 65 lbs and there is no doubt in my mind i could defend myself if i ever had to!

My son has been training here and has had amazing results both physically and emotionally. He no longer gets bullied at school. Since going here and learning discipline and self confidence he has improved tremendously at home and school as well. He loves the friends he has made here. When he competes he loves being part of something bigger. I now train here as well and its great to have something in common with my son. I feel amazing!

Great staff and family oriented people. Only down fall I would say is there was no limit to the amount of people in the small waiting/viewing area. On top of that all parents had to sign a blank paper agreeing not to sue if anyone gets Covid.

Decent school to train at but it forces you to purchase and put its' patches and logos on your gi. I mean if you are representing your school and commercializing it on your own gi, you should not be needing to purchase them and put them on yourself; if I own a Walmart I can't make the employees buy a t-shirt with Walmart logo on it and wear it to represent my business outside the store, all I can do is give out free t-shirts with my logo on it.
