I have been going to Pinnacle on and off and every time I go when I have time the classes is always gonna be a good class. coach Daniel and Andrew are excellent teachers always willing to walk you through the lesson as well as providing tips and guidance. It’s unfortunate I am going on rotation and moving out of San Antonio but If I am ever in town and need to get a roll in I will would for sure stop by Pinnacle. 100% recommend pinnacle if you ever want to learn bjj and striking.
My son has been training at pinnacle for 2 years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and encouraging with kids. They’ve helped my son build confidence, discipline, and focus while having fun at the same time.
The center has a supportive and safe environment, and the sense of community here is wonderful, and I love how they emphasize respect and teamwork.
My experience at Pinnacle has been exceptional. Many different class times and different martial arts to choose from. All of the coaches are professional and willing to help you coach you along no matter what level you’re at. Definitely recommend Pinnacle if you are considering getting into martial arts.
I can’t speak highly enough about this family owned gym. They train some high-level fighters, but they’re also very family-oriented, and safety-conscious, especially for the kids and newer students. My 13y/o has flourished at Pinnacle. Highly recommend!
Come here to this gym and unlock your child’s potential. My kid’s confidence have grown so much. Great community to train as an adult, teen and kids classes.

Excelente lugar de entrenamiento , los instructores te apoyan y te ayudan a fortalecer las áreas de oportunidad de las prácticas diarias , los compañeros son muy tolerantes en el área de sparring , totalmente recomendable Pinnacle MMA.
Coach Dale and Coach Daniel are absolutely amazing!! They know their stuff and have the kids on a perfect schedule that changes the lessons each time so they don’t get bored. My child retains what she learns and has progressed so much with them! Our gym is like a family, we love going everyday! We now have classes for every age and skill level!
We started my son here during the first week of school. He is in 2nd grade and we have benefited and enjoyed it more than we could have ever imagined. We have noticed a direct correlation to his school behavior improving dramatically. The coaches are so amazing and supportive and my son wants to work hard to impress them. The place is clean and professional but has a great family feel annd so multiple events and play days that involve pizza, bounce castles and dodge ball. Our whole family has really enjoyed getting involved here and now we try to come up to 4 times a week even.
Amazing staff! Great coaches who all have a unique style ! I’ve tried before at other places and never stuck never returned but here Is different and now this is part of my weekly routine and don’t know why I didn’t start sooner!!! For those reading just do it trust me you won’t regret it !
Been to only a few classes and have already learned so much. All coaches are very helpful along with most students. Will be learning here for a long time
First day of Jujitsu class experience. Got a pretty good package from Rabeka when I went very first time. She understands your requirements and explain how things could workout and answers all your questions patiently.
First day experience as a beginner in Jujitsu field - Greeted by coach Daniel, professional and experienced coach. Taught me how to wrap up my white belt.
Everyone is so respectful and supportive to each other, you wouldn’t feel you’re a new member. I started learning basic fundamentals by a Brazilian coach, sorry I forgot his name, but he was really experienced and taught me few things. Starting to learn Jujitsu in this academy was my best decision. Honor to be part of the team. Appreciate all.

For years, I struggled to find a sport that would engage my child, who faced high-anxiety in various scenarios. My goal was twofold: to help him confront his anxiety head-on and to provide physical activity away from electronic devices. I prepared him for the journey, emphasizing that he needn’t be the best, but rather give his very best effort during practice. With the unwavering support of coaches and assistant coaches, I witnessed his growth in the sport gradually erode his anxieties. His confidence blossomed, transforming anxiety-inducing decisions into decisive actions. We made a commitment to invest a full year of training, knowing that consistency and dedication would yield improvement and results. Pinnacle Jui-Jitsu not only helped him break out of his shell but also instilled resilience—teaching him to rise again after every fall. 🥋
I highly recommend Pinnacle Jui-Jitsu to any parent trying to help an anxious child grow. Trust the process.
During the year we’ve been attending the gym, we haven’t encountered any cleanliness issues. Just to address any concerns stemming from negative reviews. Given that people, including kids, sweat during physical activities, I always make sure my child showers after practice when we get home.
Pinnacle has been a great way to improve yourself. If your looking for a great way to get in shape and learn techniques of self defense they have you taken care of here.

Progression and strong knowlegable athletes to train with
Highly recommend
A great place to learn and grow at your own pace. The energy is uplifting and just about everyone from the coach to other students will show praise to keep you motivated. Sparring is always great and more experienced people will take it easier to help you understand where your strengths and weaknesses are. The coach is always keeping a watchful eye and planning out the next drill or workout depending on where most of the class requires it. He’ll point out form and correct it to make sure we aren’t picking up bad habits. Front desk support is also very great at addressing questions and routinely reach out to help schedule your next training days. Overall, nothing but positives and I look forward to growing as much as possible here. 👍

They have a great system and they fallow up with me .They set up My weak schedule with text . I recommend pinnacle Martial Art.
This is an awesome academy , with very knowledgeable staff. If you’re serious about getting some training in and even considering competing, stop by and I promise you won’t regret it. The classes are going to push you to be your best self, and the instructors will take the time to correct any discrepancies in technique they see. As the other reviews have said, people here are friendly and are looking to help you be better! I’m glad I decided to make this my gym and excited to grow with this community!

Great teachers and staff. I couldn’t be happier with my sons experience!
So I went to train with my friends at Pinnacle because they talked highly about it, and I see why. They kept the drills very simple, with ample time for repetition. Some gyms I went to would throw a bunch of drills at you and not enough repetitions to get them down, and that's very frustrating, especially to a new fighter like me.
Plus, everyone there is cool; they didn't spar hard on me, which was good since I'm new to this. They gave me pointers as we sparred as well. Stellar people 👌

Great gym, great environment, and knowledgeable staff! Have been to many gyms and pinnacle martial arts is definitely up there! Highly recommend :)

Great place with knowledgeable instructors. Nothing is ever the same, everyday you’re doing something different. Highly recommend
Although I have been here for only 6 months I don't regret the time I spent at Pinnacle the coaches are unbelievably great. I would recommend it 100% it's unfortunate I have to leave pinnacle for college but I will have the knowledge of what coach Brian coach Daniel coach Dale and coach Andrew have taught me from how to improve my skills or how to improve myself mentally. upon joining they will make feel welcomed and one of them I promise. I see this gym and the people in it as family and do plan revisiting anytime I get the chance in the future!!!
I'm So Greatful that My Kids have found something they Love and Can Enjoy together. Thank You for Welcoming us to be apart of the Pinnacle Family. And For All Your Help Teaching My Kids Respect, Confidence and Integrity ,We Appreciate You Coach Daniel and Coach Dale.
Pinnacle MMA is great place to learn the martial arts. From day one I have felt welcome and have enjoyed the different classes they offer. Coach Daniel and Bryan really care about your development. JJ at the front desk has excellent communication with me about my class schedule and has been very flexible when I can’t make it.
I definitely recommend.
So one day i saw a free workshop for pinnacle MMA and thought my son would enjoy it we attended and he loved it so much the coaches daniel and dale are amazing my son getting the direction and discipline it takes to be great hes gaining confidence and made friends 💙 his first tournament he made first place in his division and he has since moved up 2 belts and is now in the leadership class the halloween party was so much fun and they also did a christmas party made gingerbread houses and had pizza and sweets ..this place is really amazing im glad my baby has some awsome coaches that actually truely care about him ❤
If you’re looking for a place to train look no further. This place has the most professional staff and students, I’ve had plenty of gyms with awful training partners but pinnacle has by far above and beyond the best people and best knowledge. I’m prior military and I’ve moved from east to west coast so I’ve trained at a large amount of facilities, there isn’t one that can compare to pinnacle, the instructors here are dedicated to their craft and high level competitors. More importantly they have the attention to their students and you would have to actively try to not improve. If you’re doing this as a hobby, this is your gym. If you’re doing this professionally, this your gym. There is no better place in town, I checked several times. If I had kids I’d have them train here, their core values as an academy are priceless when it comes to molding your treasured children while giving them good exercise, entertaining them and teaching them a valuable skill that will gift them strength of will, character, and kindness. 5 stars there is no one better, best money I ever spent, don’t regret it, never will.
My entire family has joined Pinnacle MMA and it has been one of the best things I have ever done in like EVER!! Not only am I learning Jiu-Jitsu and becoming better every week but I am also getting into better shape and with out knowing, they have also motivated me to make some drastic changes to my personal life (ex. Diet). The staff is awesome and I've even had some of the coaches offer me advice when it comes to nutrition which is something they don't have to do. The coaches/professors have no problem giving you there personal cell phone numbers if you ever have a question or just need some motivation. It's like being part of a family that very few have the courage to join except this family can beat the s#%t out of you (for training purposes of course).
My son has been attending pinnacle for 3 months now and he loves it. Jiu jitsu has boosted his confidence. The coaches are skilled and attentive. The kids are challenged every class but never pushed to hard. I recommend pinnacle martial arts to anyone that is interested in learning mma.

Our boys have been going to Pinnacle for about three years now. They love the coaches and we have met amazing people! My husband actually joined too and we signed up for three more years…we are in for the long haul🤣
The Instructors and staff are second to none! Great Academy to be apart of, very modern and very clean. Every student gets to be coached by highly skilled, and professional coaches who will bring out the inner warrior in you. I’m proud that my son gets to represent Pinnacle Martial Arts on and off the mat! Thanks Coach Daniel, Coach Brian, and Coach Nancy!

My Son loves his classes and his coaches. He looks forward to every class he can attend. If it was up to him he would stay at the dojo All Day long. My son has become more social with more confidence than ever. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As far as the coaches they are super supportive.

My son loves training at Pinnacle martial arts. As a single mom, I love how coach Daniel and the rest of the Pinnacle family are so welcoming. My son has developed so much self confidence and self control through training and I'm so proud! The gyms cleanliness is maintained exceptionally well and the schedule accommodates student/work life.

My son loves it here. Friendly staff with a wealth of experience.
I've been going to Pinnacle for a little over a year now and aslong as I'm in San Antonio it'll be the only MMA gym i go to. Everyone here is very welcoming its like a little family and the gym is like my 2nd home. The coaches and staff are great, coach Daniel is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about seeing his students improve and is always pushing us to get better. I would recommend this gym to everyone and anyone who wants to try mma, bjj, or just have fun getting in shape.

People here are pretty chill and hardworking people.
You learn mma pretty effectively through striking and grappling.
It’s good exercise and you can make friends here as well as enter competitions.
Pinnacle is fantastic for kids. My son is learning so much about not just jiu jitsu, but also hard work, self-control, comradery, and good sportsmanship. We really love Coach Daniel and all the staff. They're great about keeping parents informed of opportunities for kids' night and tournaments.
Pinnacle Martial Arts has been amazing. I've been going on and off for about a year (work and school have been crazy lately, so I can't go as much as I want to) and have only had positive experiences. They are very beginner friendly, but will push you towards your goals, so prepare to work! Everyone's super nice, and it's a really welcoming atmosphere. They're just a great group of people who are working to better themselves and their lives. Hopefully this review convinces at least one person to give Pinnacle a shot, because it really is worth it.
The coaches are tough, fair, and supportive. They make sure you learn proper technique and form and are always pushing you to do your best. The environment is super friendly and welcoming, too. The classes and exercise are killer, but you feel like you’ve accomplished something!
Before my daughter started training here she had the worst temper and attitude. I did their 90 day offer to see if she liked it since she has always been interested in this kind of sport. She ended up loving it, it’s almost a year since she’s been apart of this team and I wouldn’t change it for nothing! Her coaches are amazing! Her attitude and temper have completely changed. Since she’s been in this program I have not had to discipline her like I used to and I can say coach Daniel and coach Nancy had a huge part of it!

This place has been a second home for 10 years. The staff is great, friendly, and make you feel like you belong. The coaches are knowledgeable and will help in any way they can. 10/10 would recommend.
We are very happy with Pinnacle Martial Arts for our 5 year old son. Although we are new to the program, we can see the potential for him to learn new skills, confidence, discipline and self-defense. The coaches are well trained and understand how to teach young children. My son always looks forward to the days he gets to train and practice. We look forward to seeing him improve and learn even more.

Started coming here at the start of the summer as a complete beginner to mixed martial arts and I absolutely love this place! The coaching is great, staff is extremely friendly and I feel very fortunate to have begun my mixed martial arts journey here.
I'll recommend this to anyone who is serious about training to be in the MMA or become physically fit. You've got Muy Thai, BJJ, and Striking to choose from.
State of the art gym with plenty of space for both practitioners and guests.
The instructors are really cool and you can tell that they're passionate about what they do.
You'll learn lots on your first day and the people there are very friendly to any new comer. Some outstanding fighters there.
I decided to rescind my offer because of the process in which things were pitched to me. It was kind of like you show up, sign some papers, and you're fitted for a suit after you hand your banking information over. It didn't feel authentic.
I believe this gym is going places. It's right for the passionate individual who is wanting to fight. Maybe it's my old bones but I tapped out of the offer.

Excellent gym and facilities, they really look after beginners and make you feel welcome from day one 😀
Giving a 5 star because it’s no secret this gym is WORTH it. I’ve been to many MMA gyms and it’s nothing like this MMA gym. They have a very welcoming vibe, all they want is the best for you and what suits YOU. Coach Daniel is a great Coach💪🏾 He knows where to start weather you’ve done the sport or not he puts 110% on his students.
Don’t take my word for it go in there and check it out for yourself!
I've been attending jiu jitsu classes at Pinnacle for about two months, and I've enjoyed them so much that I now train 5 times a week. From the start the coaches, staff, and other patrons have been welcoming and supportive. Coach Daniel's passion for the sport energizes every class, and he grounds his effective teaching style in differentiated instruction and consistent feedback.
After a warm-up, he will demonstrate a new technique several times, not only breaking it down but also explaining the reason behind each movement. "Jiu jitsu is a game of inches," he often reminds us, emphasizing the need for patience and emotional as well as physical control. In addition to teaching us major techniques, Coach Daniel focuses on the transitions between them. Rather than merely mastering big moves in isolation, we learn how to direct the flow of the fight itself.
I saw the benefits of his training firsthand when I attended a tournament this past weekend to watch my new teammates. Many won medals, their superior skills evident in the speed and precision of their takedowns, passes, and submissions. They did not cling to rigid plans of attack but rather swiftly adapted to new challenges, demonstrating a flexibility that often led to victory. On a side note, I also found myself impressed by the way they cheered on and supported their teammates, the camaraderie on display a truly heartwarming experience.
In closing, I highly recommend Pinnacle for all those seeking a nuanced, intelligent understanding of jiu jitsu. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Amazing people here! they will work with you as much as possible! All of the coaches are great as well asa everyone that goes there. You want to work out again, or are interested in BJJ or kickboxing? go do it here they will show you and are very patient with teaching.
Coach Daniel is awesome! Great with the kids. Very motivating, tough when needs to be, family oriented and a great role model. One of the best decisions I made putting my daughter at Pinnacle Martial Arts. The trust I have in Coach Daniel to know when to push her, and when she's had enough; was easy to give. You see his BJJ heart in teaching/training these kids from day 1.
Mya has started to develop a sense of confidence different but beneficial then any parent can give. She has gained strength both physically and mentally, and a set of skills that I know will only continue to improve.
At Pinnacle from 1st meeting Ari, Rebecca, Coach Daniel, and other parents you feel very welcomed. BJJ is a LIFE long training, that builds character, strength, but most of all a support system that supports you both on and off the mat.
Why you may ask, if Pinnacle is so great; am I not training as well? I most definitely wish I was, but my current Neck issues stand in the way of ANY contact training.

I’m so glad I made this commitment! I did the unlimited classes for 3 months and after 3 jiu-jitzu classes and 1 kickboxing class( a week and a half worth) I feel awesome. Despite that I’m a runner, and go to the gym, at these classes, I am dripping sweat. It’s awesome. It’s a great cardio. Most importantly, I’ve learned 3 useable techniques for both life and jiu-jitzu. I’m in it for the exercise, but I feel smarter in combat already. I do the adult class, everyone is professional(not trying to injure me). You should join.
Thank you Pinnacle!!! Can’t wait for next weeks techniques!
My fiancé has been training here for a year and absolutely loves it. The coaching is terrific and the facilities are very nice. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. They respond to questions very quickly. If you are looking for a gym to train at this one comes highly recommended!

My two boys have enjoyed the classes very much. They have learned great techniques for defense and it has helped them with discipline and self confidence and above all to burn off some energy! They love it every time we come!! I totally recommend these classes!!
I have been with the gym for about 6 years at this point. The instructors cater to your goals and help you achieve them by informing and teaching you the steps. When I first started coming I was 230 lbs, with their help I have brought my weight down to my lowest of 160, and as k now maintaining a very healthy 185. The environment as well as the facility are worth the experience in full! Hope to see y’all on the mats 🙏🏼
Pinnacle martial arts is an awesome gym for kids and adults. Since day 1 that I signed up my son he enjoyed it and up to this day he absolutely loves going to pinnacle martial arts. Coach Daniel is an amazing coach my son has improved so much, coach Daniel is very skilled and knowledgeable in BJJ. All the staff at pinnacle are amazing they are very helpful. I recommend Pinnacle Martial Arts to anyone looking for a BJJ gym, im even thinking about signing up now.
We LOVE pinnacle martial arts. We have been with them for going on 5 years! Our 10 year daughter trains and so does my husband. Let me tell you we have checked out almost every BJJ kids program at San Antonio gyms. You will not find a program as good as PMA's. You get your moneys worth not only because of the quality of the training but also because of the amount of training your kids will get. Rebekah and Daniel truly make it a family feeling gym. It is literally our second home being here 5-6 days a week sometimes twice a day.
When bringing my two kids I was nervous about them being lost and trying something different . But as soon as we walked in everyone was friendly and welcoming. Coach Daniel is patient and great with the kids . What was just curiosity turned out to be what my daughter says “I found my passion “ I’m glad we took up the offer for the trial , we’re now here to stay! We enjoy being a part of Pinnacles Martial Arts and I’m excited for my daughters continuous growth 🙂
My son loves Pinnacle! The price is worth it for the respect and attention they learn! It’s a great workout and it wears my 8 year old out each day we go. If you’re considering martial arts for a youngster, highly recommend this place.
Both of my sons train jui-jitsu here. My older has had confidence problems but after 3 months of training here we have seen massive improvements in his confidence. We couldn't be any more happy with Professor Daniel. The facility looks brand new after a major renovation done by the owners. Staff is friendly. Bathrooms are clean. The mats are always cleaned and sanitized. 5 Star organization all the way!
This is the perfect place for children and adults to start off their martial arts journey or continue it! This is the only gym in San Antonio that I have seen with the most sanitary and largest mat space for training! I love how Coach Daniel is a super nice and technical BJJ coach and how the other students help you out when you need it, just like a team! If you are looking for somewhere to become your second home, this is the spot because you’ll never want to leave and stop training! I love the schedule because they have morning and evening classes no matter what my work schedule is like for the week! I have trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since I was a little girl and this is the best academy I have trained at in San Antonio, whether you are training for competition, self defense or just exercising! All of the students and staff are so friendly and wouldn’t want to take my martial arts journey to any other academy! Thank you Pinnacle Martial Arts!
I wanted to try BJJ as a way to challenge myself and do something other than hitting the gym for physical fitness. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at Pinnacle. The coaches are fun and professional. In just a few weeks, I learned a lot. I grew more confident and physically stronger. I moved into also taking Muay Thai and BJJ. Love every second of it and I always look forward to training. This is a great gym for everyone who is looking for something fun to do, wants to learn how to defend themselves or wants to go all the way and train to compete. I don’t have kids, but I see the way the coaches train with the little ones and I have seen kids become more disciplined and get quite good at BJJ in a short amount of time.
We've had both our boys training here for a couple of years. They started in the after school program before Covid. Then they trained virtually for a few months, and moved back in to a distance training, and then back into a regular after school training program again. The coaches have been phenomenal through it all. They have been leaders for the kids, provided a community for them, and been a constant support for our boys giving encouragement and a steady presence during this whole pandemic. Our boys are getting well trained, and learning about leadership for their own lives through the examples they see here. I would recommend Pinnacle Martial Arts to any family.
Whether you are a complete beginner who has never stepped on a mat or have been doing martial arts for years, Pinnacle Marital Arts is the place to train and develop skills that applicable in and out of the gym. Coach Daniel is a brilliant instructor who will break down a move and give you a reason for why you do something. This has given me confidence in my abilities and a deeper understanding of Ju-Jitsu.
In addition to this being an amazing place to train, the people are also incredibly welcoming. Everyone is open to helping you learn something and they will gladly walk you through a move. There is not other place I’d recommend more than Pinnacle Martial Arts.
My daughter is 13 years old. Her name is Sophia. Her classes are Muay Thai boxing with Coach Roberto and Boxing with Coach Daniel. We started going since Oct2019. The place is great the Coaches are always available. The hours were perfect since I’m a working parent. Since going to Pinnacle my daughter’s confidence has changed. She looks forward to her training. Pricing is affordable and they were willing to work with me. The classes are Coed. It’s open to all ages. My kid is currently training with teenagers and adults in both classes. I recommend you check them out. The experience and transformation on my daughter was worth it.
Got bored of going to the gym 4-5 days a week after so many years, so decided to look into MMA and check this place out. Randomly walked in, and was greeted by super nice owners. Signed up for classes that day, and have been enjoying the classes since then. The instructors are really knowledgeable, and will teach you great self defense with a better workout than your gym.
I’ve been here a few weeks, and I’m honestly pretty wowed. All of the instructors are super nice and very experienced, and my classmates all seem very attentive and willing to learn/help. Daniel personally and regularly texts people to remind them of class times, and he’s let me come in late when I told him I wouldn’t be able to make it in time.
The classes are fun, and the environment is friendly and welcoming! I’ve signed up for more classes since I’ve been going 4 times a week at least! It’s the part of my day that I look forward to most, and best of all is that the classes are boosting my confidence while also helping me manage my anxiety.
Pinnacle is incredible! The facility is modern, clean, calm and welcoming. Everyone who works here is top notch. From the coaching staff to the administrative staff, you can tell that excellence is their standard. All of the BJJ classes are broken up in a way that beginners receive, practically individual instruction. Beginners won’t get thrown into rolling with upper belts who just want to submit lower belts. The coaches are incredibly professional and encouraging, and want to ensure that their standard of excellence passes on to their students. They are also very welcoming and friendly.
I also have an autistic teenager who has been so welcome here. At the end of his first class he was sweeping and cross choking me. I really can’t say enough great things about Pinnacle.
I have been involved with multiple gyms and trainers over the years and NOTHING compares to the knowledge and education I received at Pinnacle Martial Arts. I have learned MORE here in 1 week, than I have over the past 10 years. My very FIRST boxing class was like none other. Since then, Coach Daniel has been teaching me close quarter combat techniques that I have never thought about using. After only TWO Jiu-Jitsu classes, my mobility and flexibility has improved TREMENDOUSLY. Definitely felt a difference while doing Back Squats. Due to the improvements, I was able to rep with MORE weight. Coach Matt is an exceptional BJJ Professor. After only ONE class with him, my shrimp technique and wedge became more natural, and now I am able to execute those techniques without having to think too hard about it.
I am also finding out that Martial Arts is not for everyone. Martial Arts is for those who posses qualities of Honor, Integrity, Discipline, and Tenacity. Or if someone wishes to posses those qualities, Martial Arts will help show the way. This school EXEMPLIFIES and lives out those qualities mentioned above. Looking at past reviews, it is CLEAR why some may be disgruntled. However, it’s not the Academy that they are unhappy with. It is the lack of character, balance, and self control in their personal life that is making them dissatisfied. Therefore, this Academy or ANY form of Martial Arts is NOT for them.
My ONLY regret is not finding this school earlier in life!
I walked in with no knowledge of self defense. There was no judgment. The Coaches are also and have been very patience and helpful daily. I look forward to the classes daily. I recommend Pinnacle to anyone. See you there!!! I am at the 11am class Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I might check out the Saturday class at 10am😳
We love Pinnacle!!! It gives my son the confidence no other organization could!!! My son was starting middle school and it really gave him that extra strength, stability, leadership and confident skills he needed to begin his Journey. It’s our second family and we love them!!!

Didn't train here, but felt its necessary to let people know if you want information youll have to go take a tour. I emailed and responded to the text messages and the response was swift, until I didn't reply to set up a tour.
From my experience if you have a take a tour in a place they will try to sell you that day on a product. Automatic red flag for me.
Take that as you will, seems like a nice group, just my cup of tea.

Seems like a good place but 597.00 is a good lump sum for the first two weeks for two classes a week.
>>OMG READ THE ONE STAR REVIEWS! <<
I contacted this place through text messaging
They did take while to respond, but they responded.
I asked about smaller classes, pricing etc
And I would get ignored about pricing.
I am a single parent and well thats tough financially.
I have a set budget , which is why i asked for pricing.
But was told we have to go in person because that was the first step.
I did made it very clear if they can not giving me pricing upfront, then I was not interested in going and wasting time. I live almost an hour from there. …
The way they responded was concerning… (first red flag was not giving a price).
As I come to check the reviews thinking maybe it’s worth the drive, even after their weird response.
I noticed a lot of ugly replies to low ratings from the owner.
Needless to say, will not be taking my son here for sure…..

I’m looking for places to train in Muay Thai. This one is the closest to me but after reading the unprofessional and condescending responses from the owner… I’ll stay away from here. It’s almost like a teenage girl is arguing. Why? You’re scaring away potential customers.
I normally don't go out of my way to write bad reviews but i feel like it's appropriate. I was asked to leave and kicked out of the gym after i had just prepaid $1200. The reason i was kicked out was because Rebeka felt threatened when i told her other gyms were offering better rates. I was getting charged $220 a month whereas other gyms such as Rodrigo Pinheiro was only charging $150/month and they have World Class practitioners. Rebecka said she would send me a refund check and never did, despite sending her multiple emails. The gym is also not sanitary. A few members got staph infections and were blamed and called "idiots for training with each other". I highly do not recommend coming here. More than half of their members left to Rodrigo Pinhiero and Black Label as a result of bad management. The owners are scammers and unprofessional.

After reading all the 1 star reviews, I can see how unprofessional the owner is, especially with how he responds to people. When you get bad reviews, you should do your best to make things right, instead of throwing insults back at the person leaving the review. Unprofessional in reviews already shows me to not attend this gym.
***PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING ANY 'FINE PRINT' CONTRACT***
Immediately after joining the gym I already was hearing rumors that there were some issues with the gym and it's owners. Apparently, they were not cleaning the mats enough and there was a high turnover rate with the students, coaches, and staff. Not to mention the price point is 50% higher than the average cost of other gyms and twice as much as the gym I go to now. After my 4 or so months of training there, me and a few other members got ring worm and there was a conflict between the head coach and the owners which resulted in a hand full of students and the head coach leaving the gym. I ignored the issues and kept training anyway. It was extremely convenient to go to this gym considering I lived walking distance away, and bc I made some great friends in the remaining coaches and training partners. Also, someone had to go to the hospital for a staff infection in their leg later.
During the initial COVID-19 Months students were unable to attend the gym for about 3 or so months but were still forced to pay their outrageous prices b/c they offered online classes and urged us to attend even though they did next to nothing for improving your jiu-jitsu ability. After 3 years of training here I become one of the top performing competitors and won many medals representing Pinnacle Martial Arts. I am a college student and sometimes funds can become an issue, and competitions are expensive. I let the owners know that I will be moving soon to transfer schools and that I was hurting as far as money goes. I went from contract to paying 3 or so months at a time instead. However, the move date kept getting pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances. They didn't budge a nickel on their price, and I was paying 200$ a month. About 3 months out from my move date I was due to pay for Nov and Dec. I needed to give the owners a new card but I did not have the money so I did not train those months, and I had already mentioned to the owners that I would be changing gyms b/c I was moving to the other side of town. Coincidentally during this time, our head coach brought some issues to the owners of the gym which were ignored and resulted in him and MOST of the long-term students leaving the gym. In my new home I live 33 minutes away from the gym and they 'currently' no longer have a daily head coach that can officially teach classes.
And now, the reason for this review's existence.
To boost their reputation and replace lost members, Pinnacle affiliated themselves with a gym in Austin and made a deal that their blackbelt would come teach classes once a month. I happen to be a fan of this person and their unique style of jiu-jitsu and already met and trained with him a couple times before. Excited at this being a local opportunity, I messaged the owners offering to pay a mat fee to come train on that day.
They said I would only be welcome if I was still a member!
In my short few years of training even I know this IS NOT THE WAY OF JIU JITSU or much less any way of running a business.
This is unbecoming behavior of an upper-level belt, gym, and does not represent this sport appropriately. There are much better alternatives in town with a much friendlier family like atmospheres.

They may offer you free months or a discounted rate, but if you accept then if you cancel your membership you lose all your money.
This review in no way should be taken to reflect any gyms or fighters affiliated with Pinnacle Martial Arts.
***Response to Response***
I see you are as dishonest and unprofessional in your review responses as you are in your business practices. Every single word in my review is true. I started training in Sept of 2017 and stopped training Nov 2020. I won 18...18 MEDALS as a blue belt representing Pinnacle Martial Arts and 5 as a white belt. You can see the proof on my Instagram. Your dishonesty speaks much louder than this review. "lol"

I came here looking to enroll my son. I was looking for a place that would offer focus and discipline as well as self defense. The guy gave me a tour some generic lines about the art of martial arts and a reference to a black martial artist that I guess studied there at one point or something which actually made me feel uncomfortable I needed details about class structure, quality etc..I got nothing. When we got back to his office he tried to convince me to purchase a membership that was close to 300 a month. He even tried to push me into getting a membership for my daughter too, who was only 5 at the time. It got downright disrespectful when I told him I would have to go over the prices with their father who I co parent with. He sat there and told me to basically lie to my child's father about the prices because he wont know anyway. Wow. My kids were sitting right there too. It was a s#$t show. I politely left and never came back.
