Stephen is a great professor and I think that shows as everyone here is super talented and hard working. Travelled from Norway and was staying near this gym so I decided to visit it. Trained here for 2 weeks and I absolutely loved it. Everyone is very welcoming and the atmosphere is really friendly. The head instructor Stephen is humble and is really fun to train with. He also has world class jiu jitsu. Jared teaches classes sometimes and like Stephen is very welcoming. If you are near this gym I highly recommend it.

The best jiu jitsu gym in the local area. High level instruction for everyone, both competitors and hobbyists. Professor Stephen is an amazing coach and active competitor who cares about his students' progress. Plentiful classes 7 days a week (4 gi and 3 no gi days). Come train at Peerless! Edit: Regular 5-6 am classes 2 to 3 times a week. Monthly law enforcement seminar.

Love this place! Great people to train with. Stephen who runs the school is a world class champion and great instructor. They run a solid kids and adult program with a wide variety of experienced grapplers to train with. I absolutely love their Sunday nogi open mats. You won't find a better jiu-jitsu achool in the area to train at.

Whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned veteran, or a pro, Peerless has something to offer everybody. I came here as a purple belt two years ago. I was 15 lbs heavier and had mostly losses whenever I’d compete. Now I’m in the greatest shape of my life and I finally win medals. Can’t say enough good things about Peerless.

World class jiu jitsu and World Champion instruction. If you are visiting the so cal area or just want to drop in and train. 7 days a week jiu jitsu. Family friendly environment with kids classes eveey weekend, beginning and competitive classes for all ages and levels. I've studied under professor Stephen for over 5 years and recommend this academy to anyone in the area. Whenever I go out of town I search for places to train so I felt the need to write.this post for anyone looking for World Class jiu jitsu . See you on the mats.

This place is outstanding. I came in with zero martial arts experience and was embraced from day one. Everyone is incredibly respectful and friendly, there is zero intimidating or hazing new students. Stephen is a great instructor and makes a point to give one-on-one attention to all during classes, regardless of skill level. That is saying something since there are often MMA fighters and black belts on the mats. The gym itself is always clean and has plenty of parking as well. If you have any interest in learning Jiu Jitsu, this is the place to do it.

The hospitality and atmosphere of the school is very welcoming! Professor Stephen is a high level black belt competitor who carries himself like a true champion. Very approachable and kind. Professor Stephen Martinez is very patient and always friendly. At peerless theres always help from David Silvio and Jered. And quite a few ladies. They also have a children's play room!
