I have been training over the years at the Orleans Martial-Arts Kungfu Patenaude to see it all, this is a true MA gem in Orleans and Eastern Ottawa. Here you can find a very complete training system that is also flexible enough to be suitable for students of all ages with all tastes - from kungfu/MMA, kickboxing, grappling to strength and conditioning for physical fitness. In addition, I am able to focus on selected topics of my own interest more often in private classes offered by the instructors - particularly by Sifu Stephane Patenaude, the chief instructor and owner of the school. It won't take any bit long for you to be impressed with Sifu Stephane's deep knowledge and effective way of teaching in every training aspect for your well-rounded personal development, physically and mentally. I am also pleased with a very comfortable environment in the club where you can find a large group of friendly practitioners along with highly capable and dedicated teaching assistants-instructors currently active (or over the years past) such as Vincent, Jessica, David, Jeff, Jasmin, Jean Louis... or experienced practioners like Raina, Roy...to name a few, who are willing to help you progress quickly. Come and see this gem yourself.

They took kung fu classes at the school, and we also celebrated my youngest child's birthday there.
Nothing to complain about: rigor, professionalism, and teaching skills.

57 year old Mom and extremely out of shape! I was looking for someone who would meet me where I'm at and work with me one-on-one Kickboxing (initially) building up confidence and self esteem. It's only been 2 sessions in, but I am beyond grateful that I've found my safe place at Patenaude Martial Arts where there is no judgement. If you’re wanting to try it out but feel unsure or there's a lack of confidence, Patenaude Martial Arts is the place to go!! Thank you Sifi Stephane for your warm welcome to the mats, and for accommodating me so I am able to do private sessions. A huge thanks to my new friend Vincent :) Your kind words, the encouragement, the support and those small pushes .... I'm feeling pretty sore (LOL) but thrilled that I get to come back and do it again. Eventually, I look forward to jumping in some classes and go full throttle. I highly recommend this dojo. The staff and members are friendly and caring, they want to see everyone succeed. Our son attends and we have seen a big improvement in his confidence, attitude and physical conditioning. With Sifu Stephane(owner) and Vincent(instructor) leading the classes you or your family will be good hands. They make sure everyone is included, no matter your skill level.
Great place, amazing dynamic. I pay for my son to attend and it helped boost his confidence and grounding. It has very amazing instructors that are kind and patient, not afraid to be stern when necessary! I'd take classes for myself if my schedule wasnt just the worst !! Planning on joining the team some time though rest assured! My only comment is, I wish there were more classes!
This Kung Fu school has helped my daughter build so much confidence and self-discipline. She feels proud of herself after every class, and we’ve seen a big positive change in her confidence both in and out of training.
Love this place! The workouts are intense but super fun, and the instructors actually teach real self-defense techniques, not just cardio moves. I always leave feeling stronger, more confident. Highly recommend! 🥊🔥
My son started going to Patenaude at first for some cross training for his other sport but decided to continue as he really enjoys the classes and the coaches.
I myself have also participated in some classes and it has been great for my family. We’ve gained confidence and valuable skills that make us feel more empowered and safe. The seminars they offer are incredibly informative and insightful, providing not just practical knowledge, but also messages of positivity and mental strength. It’s truly a place that focuses on both physical and emotional well-being. We’ve seen such a positive impact, and we’re grateful for the welcoming, supportive environment. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow stronger and more confident!

This is a fantastic place for kids martial arts. My 2 kids love coming every week. Sifu and Vincent do a great job teaching the kids. The confidence and skills they learn in class expands to day to day life. Other parents have said the same about their children.
Unfortunately we then paid for the next 6 months for both kids at end of Feb and unexpected needed to move end of Apr. I requested a refund for the 4 months the kids wouldn’t be there. They said they would look into it and never got back to us. We are very disappointed.
