I'm thrilled that my son and I are part of Carlson Gracie Ashland. It's a place where I've discovered respect, friendship, and discipline. From day one, I've been warmly welcomed by everyone at the gym, making me feel like part of a big family. Gabriel and Tony, our instructors, are outstanding. They are deeply dedicated to our training, nurturing each student's potential. Beyond their skills as coaches, the atmosphere among students is incredible; there's a strong sense of teamwork with senior members always supporting newcomers. Seeing all this, I'm immensely grateful that my 9 years old son is also training here. I've noticed his self-confidence and team spirit growing with each session.

My son attends carlson gracie ashland He loves it the instructor gabriel is such a nice person and teaches the kids discipline and respect and patience. Ive seen my son become so confident after learning that he can defend himself now. Its definitely a safe space for children to become great fighters and protectors. 🙌🙏💙

High quality and detailed BJJ and self defense instruction from qualified and knowledgeable instructors. Tony and Gabriel know their stuff and run a very friendly and family oriented gym, welcoming people from all stripes and levels of martial arts training from beginner to advanced. Nice, bright and clean facility with great training partners and positive attitudes. Gabe takes care to give individual attention to students and teach important details to properly apply the techniques. I couldn’t recommend this gym highly enough.

I really love this place. The instructor Gaberial is one of the best i've ever trained with along with his students. They instill a true passion for the sport. All are warm and inviting with no attitudes. I've trained at various dojos such as AKA, Relson Gracie affiliate in Austin, Ciao Terra in San Jose since 2000. So, i pretty much know what to look for. I am stoked that i have found such a cool place to train, especially at my age. So, if you get a chance, come by and get your roll on. You will not be disappointed.

I've been training at this gym with my family for several months now and we're all really enjoying the experience. The gym is very family-friendly and welcoming, which is hard to find in many places these days. Even our 4-year-old daughter, loves coming to the gym to train jiu-jitsu. It's been a fun and safe experience for her, which is really important to us as parents. The gym is conveniently located within walking distance from our house, which makes it easy to get there. The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable, and they really take the time to understand our unique goals and needs. They help us focus on what we need to work on and are always happy to answer questions or provide feedback. Overall, we're very happy with our experience at this gym and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in training whether they're flying solo or with family members. The family-friendly and supportive environment has been essential to helping us make progress in our fitness journeys.

The best kids class in the valley!! The way he works with and keeps there attention is second to none!!! The head coach is from Brazil and his jujitsu is straight from the source, lots of beginners. Everyone is very gentle

I have three kids who all attend Garbriel's jujitsu classes. Each one, despite being very different kids in temperament, developmental ability and motivation, are getting so much from his teachings. I see my kids growing in self confidence, self control, and self regulation. The supportive community atmosphere really lifts every child up.

I started classes 6 weeks ago and the experience has been life changing. I have found rolling to be the most cathartic and inspiring of comradery activity I have ever done. Also, I can really observe and feel the connection to the Gracie Juijitsu line through the philosophy and values upheld by Gabriel and created by Carlson Gracie. Gabriel’s expertise, patience, love of Juijitsu, commitment to building a community, and more, make this dojo a committed and nurturing experience. I cannot recommend Carlson Gracie Ashland enough!

Absolutely fantastic. Gabriel is an awesome teacher. He's very patient and has great instructions for each student. He see's everything that is going on, even while engaged with another student (very impressive awareness). I've been looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym and the Gracie name is what brought me in, but the training lives up to the reputation. For anyone reading these comments, I recommended ignoring "Claudie Kitten", as that person seems to only leave bad reviews and based on nothing but an impossible to please attitude.

The best jujitsu gym you will find in Oregon. I have coached wrestling for 10 years, have not run into a coach as good as Gabriel. He is understanding, respectful, kind hearted, teaches morals, amazing with kids, passionate about the sport, loyal to each student, treats everyone the same and teaches safe REAL jujitsu stemming from the authentic origins (hence the name) of Gracie family.
