Great school where focus is on learning and technique and not games and filler activities. Lessons are taught by the owner who is a black belt and he gives individual instruction to each of his students. Owner is great with the kids and the lessons given are taking my ten year old to the next level. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this school to anyone who is serious about their self defense and grappling skills. 10/10
Posted 1 year agoMichael Darcy and One Ten came highly recommended from a friend of mine who competes and actually understands the BJJ world (neither of which apply to myself). I was looking for somewhere to get my son in to Jiu Jitsu. After almost a year One Ten has exceeded expectations. Trying to find a balance of discipline and fun with little kids is nothing short of impossible but Coach Michael does. My kid experiences frustration, pride, fun, and exhaustion each class, then still wants to go back the next day. Somewhere in this whole process I decided to start going to class myself which I never saw myself doing. It’s been one of best things I’ve ever done for my physical and mental health to start my day with an hour and a half of the mental and physical challenge of BJJ. Coach Michael’s teaching is great and he’s created a culture amongst the people that attend One Ten that is welcoming to new people who have never done Jiu Jitsu as well as people who have decades of experience. Would recommend One Ten to anyone 🤙

Posted 1 year agoDropped in from out of town. Went to early morning class. Instruction was top notch and professor Darcy has cultivated a safe and fun mat. Will definitely visit again if I am in town!
Posted 11 months agoMichael is a great teacher! He runs a clean (and well designed) gym devoid of distractions (like loud music). His classes are relaxed, yet disciplined and follow a set structure Also, he routinely rolls with the students to keep his skills sharp...and keep our egos in check. The culture is great as the students are friendly and eager to learn. And the unheard of feature of having 545 am classes Mon through Friday obliterates any excuses for people who claim they can't fit training into their schedules. I highly recommend this place!
