Hands down the best MMA gym in the region. My son has been training here for two years now, and the transformation has been incredible. The coaches treat him with so much care and patience, while pushing him to reach his full potential. It is a truly professional training facility that caters to everyone from young kids to pro fighters, all operating like one big family under one roof. Highly recommended.

I have been very pleased with this judo club. The instructors are very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They have trial classes, which is what I initially attended so I could decide if I would like to join. Despite the class I attend being all belt levels, which can be difficult to teach, somehow, the instructors make it work. I would highly recommend signing up, if you are at all undecided!

10/10 Gym Everyone here, both coaches and athletes, is really encouraging and always willing to help. The environment is welcoming and focused on getting better. It’s a great place for all levels, whether you’re brand new or already experienced, to train and learn. There’s a solid variety of programs including BJJ, boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, judo, and more, so you can build well-rounded skills. The coaching is high quality and the training is challenging so you always leave feeling like you made progress. I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone that trains or wants to get into martial arts. 💯

This is definitely the best mma gym I have been to in the Waterloo region. They have multiple classes available and very experienced coaches teaching them. They also have accessible showers for keeping good hygiene.

We started our judo program at Olympus Martial Arts Academy last year and have absolutely loved it. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and supportive from the moment you walk in. The facility is outstanding and clearly designed with members in mind. There is a large, private women’s changing area, a convenient laundry service where you can leave your gear to be washed, high-quality gear available for purchase, and filtered water with Gatorade available to buy. The space also includes a full gym with lifting equipment and cardio machines, a cold plunge, and a sauna. There are also comfortable couches for parents to sit and watch, with a selection of wrestling, MMA, and judo books available to read. At the back of the facility, there is also a golf simulator, which is part of the Olympus facility and owned by them as well. Olympus offers expert instructors, a wide variety of classes, strong youth programs, and a community where all levels are truly welcome. They specialize in MMA, freestyle wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, striking, and now judo. They also offer a 7-day free trial, which is a great way to experience everything they have to offer. Being part of this academy has been an amazing experience and has helped improve both my training and myself overall. Highly recommend!
