Outstanding Jiu-Jitsu Academy with a true family atmosphere! Ohana West Jiu-Jitsu Academy is an incredible place to train, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family, which perfectly reflects the meaning of “Ohana.” The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and passionate about teaching, ensuring that everyone, regardless of skill level gets the attention they need to improve. The academy offers a well structured curriculum that balances technical instruction, fundamentals, live rolling, and self-defense applications. The training environment is both challenging and supportive, pushing students to grow while fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. Safety is always a priority, and the clean, well-maintained facility makes every session enjoyable. What truly sets Ohana West apart is the positive and inclusive culture. The students and coaches encourage each other, creating a team-oriented atmosphere where egos are left at the door. Whether you’re looking to compete, improve your fitness, or simply learn the art of Jiu-Jitsu, Ohana West Jiu-Jitsu Academy is the perfect place to train. Highly recommended!

This gym has changed our lives! We are so grateful for finding ohana west and becoming a part of this family. It’s had such a positive impact on our kids and has led us to meeting some of the best people in our lives. They take the family vibe and support very serious no matter who you are. Coach Billy and Alyssa are nothing short of AMAZING both on and off the mats. We couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend giving this gym a try, you won’t regret it!

We love Ohana WEST! My son has been training for almost 3 years now, and I recently just had my 4 year old daughter start jiu jitsu, too. The coaches are super friendly and approachable. I love how my son has learned more about respect, “being a leader,” and most importantly discipline and patience. Prof Billy is awesome with the kiddos, yet also stern (in a positive way) which is actually what I like. His motivational and encouraging talks/reminders after class to the kids are great and has me listening as well, and teaches me something, too. It’s great knowing this family-oriented gym and I’m glad my kids have fun while training here.

I have been with Ohana West for about 2 years now. This gym has been great for myself and my family. I was the only one in my family training, now my wife and two boys train as well. This gym has opened up so many opportunities for my family! 11/10 recommend.

Ohana West Academy is such an amazing place. My son has been coming here for about a year and a half, and I have been taking classes for a couple of months. They make jujitsu fun and enjoyable while pushing you to be the best you can be. The way the coaches instill amazing core values and principles in their students (adults included) is so awesome. The coaches make sure any questions you have while in class get answered and never make you feel any type of way for asking. Everyone on the staff here makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. They have a huge sense of community and family here that we absolutely love. I would 100% recommend Ohana West Academy to anyone who’s thinking about starting up Ju-jitsu, Muy Thia, or Wrestling.
