    Hands down the best BJJ gym in South Georgia. I’ve had my kids enrolled at Ohana for almost 3 years now; the confidence they’ve gained is amazing. I have a daughter and I can now say that she can defend herself against boys stronger than her. That is some solid peace of mind for myself. The culture at Ohana is second to none. They are a big family and treat everyone as such. The staff and the athletes are some of the best people you’ll ever meet. They’re exceptionally kind and eager to help you learn and achieve your goals. 5 stars is not enough, I’d give more if I could.

    Ohana is a very welcoming place for both beginners and more advanced students. I love their commitment to safety - every roll is overseen by an instructor. Kids can find the perfect mix between fun and working on skills here.

    I've done Martial Arts for 23 years and teach at Broussard's Martial Arts Academy in Valdosta. In my professional experience and opinion, whenever I have seen the word "Ohana" in the title of a Martial Arts school, they house the most respectful, family-friendly instructors who exemplify what it means to be a Martial Artist. While I will always hype my school, we do not focus on competitions. We focus on real-world combat. If the thrill of competition is what you seek, then this is the school I would recommend for you over any other competition-based school in the area.
